Derby's stadium was actually a direct copy and upgrade of the Riverside. They worked with Boro's plan on this. This is something that Steve Gibson freely admits. You need to put the original picture on the right of the Riverside with a main stand and horseshow and two open corners.
Boro and Derby actually had a close working relationship prior to Mel Morris. We swapped many ideas about matchday hospitality and the like. It made sense as we had much in common starting with the stadium design.

Rob it was a joke..... the stuff they have called Gibson and Boro fans, I think they can take the "Pound Shop Version of the Riverside"

Let's be honest we could massively banged the drum and made it a real nightmare for them, Gibson hasn't done any radio or TV interviews from what I've seen.

All we've said is Derby and cheated and they've admitted now they discover the punishment. It's the law essentially.

VERY INTERESTING on BBC Derby Radio

Wycombe Chairman basically saying Derby delayed, 'calculated the system' with their accounting and failed to comply with the rules of the league - starts at around 18:27

What date was that? Listened to the 14th jan one around that time. A guy was talking quite eloquently how all other 23 clubs were running there clubs as best they could and paying their debt to hmrc. Derby owed £28m To hmrc. The presenter said ‘but we have had 21 points deducted. Isn’t that punishment enough’ WTF. It appears that most down there are just living in denial. They seem more concerned about maintaining their status in the championship than surviving. They have to be realistic. Sell their player assets to generate money for the club to try and survive to the end of the season. It was reported that Tom Lawrence is on £37k per week. How can they pay anyone that much? Negotiate with creditors or at least enter into dialogue and that will give them the best chance of survival. As it stands they just seem to be burying their heads in the sand and crossing their fingers. The administrators are obviously inept at doing their job, but very adept at deflecting their incompetence onto others.

It's just been live around an hour ago.... Derby are over - the Wycombe Chairman at the end said and I quote "I have an obligation and I intend to pursue it"

They also have to pay / sort their issues with us, HMRC, non-football creditors (whoever that is), they have no stadium

So what there are in completely different parts of the country to imply the stadium and land its on is worth the same is nonsense

I would have thought MFC would take between 10% and 20% of the financial pot that promotion is worth. Whats that £10m to £20m?

Their stadium is worth £80m alone.

All this nonsense should be directed at the lying cheat who screwed the club and its fans:

Of course the problem with that is it would require most Derby to fans to accept they were wrong. They were so sure there wasn't a case to answer and Steve Gibson was a "joke" for even suggesting they'd broken the rules. Morris was just being a clever and astute businessman.

As we see in politics people hate to have to admit they were wrong. Even if slapped in the face with it. Far better for self esteem to find a scapegoat, in this case Steve Gibson.
