Middlesbrough Man Charged With Veganism

We know that veganism has been popular in the south of the country for some time but it seems it has now reached our town. We must ask ourselves, do we really want this health, animal friendly, climate change thing here in Middlesbrough? Well, do we? It seems the police, at least, are trying to do something about it but none of us should be complacent.

‘Teesside University lecturer in Social Anthroapology, Robin Gett, said, ‘If this thing continues the way it is at the moment then it could get seriously out of control with a new breed of hard core vegan, who are both vegan and restaurant owners. Let’s hope it doesn’t get to that and let’s all stay vigilant. Sneaky buggers, some of these vegans.’’

2 things. We are not sure if there is such a word as non-punishable, hyphenated or not. We just thought it sounded good. Second, there are still spaces available on the Social Anthroapology course starting in September.

Baron We do have to accept that we are not Tunbridge Wells and that may be a difficult thing for many people. No-one minds a vegan down there. Just not here, please. In fact, you’d sort of accept it with those bloody softies.
Bear We don’t why you keep going on about Tunbridge Wells because we never mention the place!😜 Still in awe of your
spot last week and, yes, the Tunbridge Wells line was put in as a little tribute to you.
Flapjacks Are you sure about that? We’ve heard about some bloody right goings on in Tonbridge recently with your bloody vegans and that. Btw we are still awaiting the results of your research into Tonbridge that you promised us last week! A lot of people are very sad!

Anyone interested in the Social Anthroapology course?

Is it a half day or one day course? A Thursday would be great.

Bear It’s a bloody 3 year degree course at Teesside University! The first 2 years you learn about anthro stuff and the 3rd year is spent on apology and learning how to say sorry properly and really mean it, like when you’ve done something really bad. However, there is a condensed version that can be done in a half a day so we’ll put you down for the second Thursday in December if that works for you?

That's great. Do I get a certificate if I forget to turn up . . . it's human nature you know? I'll apologise in advance.

Ok, you’re all booked in. Please report to room 58752 in the Western Estrogen block near Macdonalds. You will get a certificate but only if you forget to turn up twice as this is a higher special hard level course. Your apology in advance only gets you intermediate level so you’ll still probably not be very good at being sorry properly. Hope this helps?

Cuthbert You say that but the 2 places have a lot more things in common than you may first think. The only problem is we don’t know what they are yet! Also, a lot of older men find the queen very attractive so she could get married again, and with all the medical stuff she could afford, it would not be beyond the bounds of reason for her to have another child if she found the right man!

GazC, bear You’re both thinking of his flatmate Colin Teseeu. Btw, please don’t call in(Colin) to see either of them, a couple of right nasty vegans those 2. They would visit Axminster, wherever that is, for a vegan quiche!
Rumours that Teseeu might be down in Tonbridge at the moment, looking for a way to get into Tunbridge Wells. If you hear anything can you let us know.
bear Certificate is in the post. We sent it to bear66, UK. Should arrive soon.

Is anybody else interested in the Social Anthroapology course? Surely, there must be somewhere. And it’s free!

Final update before the match and we all settle down to Weegords Beer and Music thread.
Colin will not be forced to do so but has been asked if he can live in a hole for the next 2 weeks.
The small child has made an almost complete recovery but still occasionally has some bad nightmares.
Tunbridge Wells has confirmed it will do whatever it can to help.
The Social Anthroapology course has been axed due to a lack of interest.

Can I have my money back please?

bear You completed the course by not attending and we sent your certificate out this morning so the answer is no. We could offer you a weekend break in the Wells but that’s as far as we can go. Apologies.
