If Ashley pays out then surely he can then fight the odious Morris in courts to get his money back, if we actually won our claim then Derby were in the wrong at the time & who was in charge of Derby back then, not Ashley

And there’s the discussions to be had with Wycombe too which will have to run concurrently. Both have to settle.
 
I'd be pleasantly surprised if we got any money.

More worried that Derby look to have a very real chance of staying up right now, the teams around them just can't buy a win.

The players and Rooney haven't done anything wrong, so they'd have my full respect, but I want the club to go down in the interests of punishing cheating.

I suppose Reading are also cheats, and they're the team Derby are trying to catch right now, so it's not like an innocent party would suffer as it stands.

I think if Derby stay up they have achieved the almost impossible escape & should be named team of the season, regardless of the politics

Some idiot Derby fans on twitter, i dont use twitter just notice poeple posting about such, we all have em, but the team on the pitch are doing themselves & their fans proud

Have to agree, fair play to Derby and Rooney if they stay up. Cannot begrudge the players, staff etc if they pull this off. Sadly they have been proper shafted by an absolute shyster, with the fans paying a heavy price.
Unfortunately, a large number of fans have - from day one - vented their anger at Gibson and not Morris, he was caught yet Gibson is the guilty party - 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️. Sure there are plenty of decent Derby fans, sadly these seem to be in the minority at present, drowned out by single digit IQ knuckle draggers unable to process the facts they cheated, got caught.
 
No issue with Rooney and the players. They are doing a grand job and beating some of our rivals along the way. It’s the fans and Mel Morris I can’t stand. Rooney will do good things in management, he’s took on an impossible task and having a right good go.

Yes the shining light in all this is how good Rooney has behaved and performed. The decision to appoint him was mocked initially but he has quietly and resolutely gone about his job and Derby still have a great chance of surviving. With a depleted squad and off the field crises. Manager of the Season so far.
 
I have no axe to grind with Derby staff players and supporters. I can also almost understand some of them blindly lashing out at Boro as a scapegoat for some of their troubles.
I can still remember ringing up my Dad every night from a phone box in Majorca to be met with "They're doomed" one night to "They're saved" the next night.(repeat for a fortnight)
The board and specifically Morris are responsible for this.
If they avoid relegation it will be a huge achievement but I hope we thrash them at the Riverside

Good - boils my **** this. Just because we want to hold people to account we got knocked about it. They cheated, this has only been exposed because they failed to go up and have suffered since. What would’ve happened had they gone up!!
