Although I don’t think I’d get past customs if they check my social media posts about Trump.

Yes, it is spectacular, Mrs Shelbeam and I did a round road trip from SLC taking in Glacier National Park and the iconic "Going to the Sun road" some years ago. She reminds me that we had the best meatloaf ever at St Mary ( east side of park)! The two main towns/cities Helena and Bozeman were a pleasure to visit..well laid back!

Wonderful scenery but little else. It’s a long way between towns and not too much to do when you get there.

Wonderful scenery but little else. It’s a long way between towns and not too much to do when you get there. Can testify to the bears. Woke up one morning to find a bear only one hundred yards away.

It's the "beautiful scenery and little else" that attracted us! Chicago is a great place to live, but it's good to get away to some serenity once in a while!

Stunning photos . Im watching the US seniour tour from Colorado now and the course and views in the part of the world are something else. Wish it was easier for say US, UK, Can and AUS to live work and move more freely.

I need to watch Yellowstone, lots of people raving about it.

And yes, Yellowstone is worth a visit, but Glacier is better in my opinion (you could do both on the same trip...... plus the Grand Tetons, if you had two weeks available to do it).
