Mortimer & Whitehouse - gone fishing - tonight 21:00

It’s just all too much Norman. Always something stupid tips me over the edge.
I know you mentioned it is the little things that impact most, can you not reverse this and think of the little things that have gone well today for you. We've had a great result, surely that is one positive.

Not as good as last years Christmas episode (would be hard to match that) but enjoyable nevertheless.

Seeing Paul’s face as he listened to his mum I found particularly moving.

An absolute delight. Poor old Gazza looks terribly damaged.
He's 4 years older than me, I was shocked at how he has deteriorated, looked old enough to be my Dad. Sadly he's always going to be in a battle with addictions and mental health issues to some degree, extremely sad to see from someone who was so talented

Gazza is 6 years younger than me and makes me look like I've been using L'Oreal for men since I was 3.

The show was great not quite the 2020 show but it is so very endearing and calming. I think it suffered a little from the Gazza appearance - it shocked me that the guy seems to have been hollowed out, he's still got the stories but his whole demeanor is of someone who isn't dealing well with life. What an awful shame.

Hey there Aet - you have made a pretty definitive statement there, are you OK? I'm told The Edge is pretty cool, well compared to Bono anyway.

Gazza looked like Pete Burns, absolutely tragic to see a national treasure ravaged with such terrible afflictions.
He needs football to give him a purpose, unfortunately it doesn't appear like any club would touch him with a bargepole, shame really,he'd make a fantastic youth coach.
