Neil Warnock agrees to continue as Huddersfield manager next season 👍

FFS, we never beat him 🤣 I do think it's a bit of a mistake though, to sign off with the way the end of last season worked out was the perfect way to end

Agreed, saving a club from relegation and riding off in to the sunset would have been the best way to end his career.

Now he's probably going to end on mid-table mediocrity at beat, a mid-season sacking at worst.

Whilst earning another £200000 for his family? I’d take that.

I think his Mrs has got a lot to do with this decision. She likes him out the 'ouse and preferably more than 250 miles up the road like :D . She prob rang up the Hudd. Chairman on the quiet .

He clearly will as well, but he's a man who cares about his image and he got an incredible send off at the end of last season when he did an excellent job to keep them up.

He made a big stink about the way it ended here (probably rightly), and I just don't see him getting a better ending than he managed last season.

I just think it's a daft decision, end your career on a high rather than a flat note.

I'm sure he'll be hoping that he pulls off one last miracle, but I don't see Huddersfield going up unless their new owners play a blinder.

Even then I don’t think Warnocks anti football will work. As Chuba pointed out the other day he went from PAOK with a coach who was tactic and detail oriented with an hour every day dedicated to tactical work, to under Warnock, zero tactical work.

You can whip players up and get a bit more out of them and stripping back to basic kick and run can remove a failed tactic….but it’s not enough to Mount a championship promotion challenge. He’ll be sacked by December

It was a disgrace how it ended here for Neil, he had already heard Wilders name mentioned in the weeks up to his sacking. He wasn't given any money to spend yet has a record number of promotions on his CV. He knows you have to fight and scrap and battle to get out of this league and need some players that can do the dirty physical work eg Crooks - that he signed.
He got a battling draw away at WBA the day he was sacked and for the 2 months previous had most of his defence out injured...
Yeah we played some great football this season but lacked the muscle and know how when it mattered.
Look at Burnley, Sheff Utd and Luton they all had physical players and knew how to mix it up to win...
THAT'S HOW YOU GET OUT OF THIS LEAGUE AND NEIL KNOWS IT 👍

Sharon won't be happy, either that or she was getting ***ed off at having him around most of last year annoying her

Good luck to him, but not at our expense, please.
