Neil warnock

These aren’t Warnock type players though, bringing the Director of Football in, you can already see the succession planning in play.
We need to go up if we're going to see any long term benefit, though. The loan players won't be back if we're still in the Championship next season.

I thought it was one or t'other?
"The Portuguese outlet have also revealed the Championship outfit will be obligated to pay a fee in the region of €8.5m to Sporting Lisbon if they win promotion and the 27-year-old scores 15 goals in the process, a sum they would be more than able to pay if they return to the top flight."

I suppose it's all guess work and it could be one or the other. But the reports have all been that it's both conditions.

Yeah I've just done a Google myself. They all say "and" apart from a cheeky "or" thrown in by the gazette. Nothing from the club who are always very tight lipped about this sort of thing.

not one person has said they’re wanting him out based on the last 6 games. You can’t ignore our form from January, the majority of his signings being a disaster, clearly having a squad full of players he didn’t want and the desperate need for a long term appointment.

None of that changes after one result against the bottom side, same was as nothing would have changed if we lost too

Last night was a step in the right direction, a very small step against woeful opposition. Fingers crossed for Saturday.

Unless you're in the top 7 or 8 the manager is useless..... same old same old.
The reality is that doing a Leicester or a Brentford is just the stuff of dreams.
Like everyone else I still dream of those days of watching the best in the world grace the Riverside
We had our time..... the best of times in the Robson and Mac years.
Take a look below us. Bolton, Ipswich, Shef Wed.
With Gibson gone thats where we are.
FFS relax and enjoy it.

What complete and utter rubbish. Just because all fans don’t tow the club line - and the 11th commandment- Thou shalt not criticise the club in any way, shape or form- does not exclude any of them from wanting the best we can achieve.
I don’t think anyone thinks the club is beyond criticism, however, some of the comments made about the manager border on being nasty and vindictive. Criticise by all means but calling him a liar and other slurs isn’t appropriate and would the individuals who post these comments actually say them to his face??

Donny, firstly I think you will find there are more than a handful of posters who feel very uncomfortable at any of the workings of the club being criticised!

Secondly, would I be prepared to say things to someone’s face? Absolutely.

Regarding the most recent criticism of Neil, frankly it was largely brought on him by his comments regarding the only way you learn about the Championship is by playing. This didn’t apply to Payero at all.

Finally, I call out the fans who call him Colin. To me this is far more disrespectful to him than criticism aimed at comments, team selections, tactics where a lot of people have views. And I do agree, if there is name calling and personal abuse that is not on.

Some people here will be gutted if we end up doing well.

I doubt it, most people's love for Middlesbrough FC far outweighs their dislike of Neil Warnock.

I'd be delighted if he got us into the play offs or better, I wouldn't like the bloke still, but would appreciate he's done what he was brought in to do.

My comments weren’t directed at you personally., more at those who use this forum to direct personal abuse at the manager. I agree that those who call him “Colin” Should think what it implies ( my Sheff Wed mate explained it to me) I agree that the club is not and should not be above criticism but at least make it positive criticism. Overall, let’s have a good season UTB
