NEIL WARNOCK

Yep let's sack all the managers fare play some of them rightly so but if Neil warnock can't do it then who can at a club like this?

All our home games this season have been good and for the most part we've played well
It's obviously a team in transition, Payero, Lea Siliki and Olusanya are obviously not ready to make a major impact yet.
Yeah we should have done better today but it's fine margins and the fluke own goal and McNair's free kick are examples of that.
The Championship is relentless and inconsistencies are the norm.
Can't understand those who wet the bed after every defeat...it's a long season we could easily come with a late run when things start to click.
Keep the faith....
We got completely outclassed by QPR with 10 men and beaten by a Blackpool side who are favourites to go down, Bristol was half decent and it sounds like we played well against Sheffield Utd, I dont think you could really say all of our home games were good.

Wetting the bed after every defeat? We have won 12 times in 2021! This isnt just a bad reaction to one loss. By the same logic you are using one good performance against Sheffield to suggest he should stay on.

Again what have you seen from this team in the last few months to suggest they will ever go on a late run? We are a million miles away from being capable of that unless I am clearly missing something

Did Monk fail? He was sacked for off-field issues. Pulis made the play-offs and would’ve done it again if not for Derby. It’s a fine line. I’m not saying I liked him or the football but he wasn’t too far away in the grand scheme of things. It depends how black and white you want to be. I suppose anyone who doesn’t take us up will be considered a failure really.

But Agnew was a stop gap. Woodgate was a failure but it was his first job. You move on. Warnock was a success but his work with us is done. If he left this week I wouldn’t consider his work with us as a failure.

All of these debates - wait, it’ll click, we’ll go on a run, we’re close, we’re unlucky, fine margins, bad luck, I can’t believe we haven’t won it let alone lost it, it is what it is, we go again, we go with what we’ve got, they’re a good group, we have to find a way to win games…

We had exactly the same debates about the end of the Mowbray era. Exactly the same. The team was inconsistent, leaking goals and suffering from injuries. The substitutions were weird. We consistently came out of tight games on the wrong side. It’s exactly the same now.

It wasn’t bad luck then and it’s not bad luck now. It’s been going on too long for it to be anything to do with luck.

Who the hell uses a stop gap in the so called best league in the world
We did. The chairman never expected to change manager at that time, clearly. He went with his instinct, or went for something akin to maintaining some sort of consistency. Probably trying to minimise the damage. Maybe he knew who he wanted in the summer regardless of which division we were in. Who knows.
