Main Transfer Targets

MF Ardon Jashari (Mowett)
ST Joel Piroe (Archer)

Daniels, Fisher, Hall, Walker all released

Coulson, Payero & Hoppe available for transfer? Maybe back into the fold over Bilongo & Sivi?

Costs are down money is back in the kitty £5.5m was rumoured to be the fee for Ardon Jashari in January.. can’t see him going to Celtic for £7m.. more likely for us to go in for Max Bird from Derby.

Joel Piroe will be looking to move, Swansea putting a £20m price tag on his head certainly hasn’t helped matters. More like £8m going into his final year of his contract.. pretty sure the deal will hyped up to around £15m plenty of Championship suitors, but Boro should be his favoured choice (especially if we get a few otherSwansea lads in)

Big loans, solid free agents, two big moves and plenty of difficult decisions to make in the mean time.

In the realm of football's intricate dance, Where talents align in a hopeful trance, There lies a world of dreams and plans, With lists of transfer targets held in eager hands.
Upon the pitch, where legends are made, Clubs seek to strengthen, the foundation laid, A symphony of whispers, rumors, and talks, As managers compile their desired stocks.
With pens in hand and minds afire, They search for gems to take them higher, The scouts traverse the globe, far and wide, In quest of players who'll turn the tides.
Lists emerge, meticulously crafted, Each name a possibility, fate enacted, Forwards with a lethal, predatory grace, Midfield maestros with skill to embrace,
Defenders, sturdy pillars, unwavering walls, Keepers who guard the net as destiny calls, The list grows longer, dreams start to bloom, As clubs envision victories in each changing room.
From bustling markets to quiet academies, From famous stadiums to unseen alleys, These targets hold the promise of more, And clubs dare to dream, their spirits soar.
Yet the game of transfers is a tempestuous sea, Where hopes can falter and dreams may flee, For lists are but echoes of ambitious hearts, The delicate art of assembling the finest parts.
Some names become a reality, signed with glee, While others slip away, elusive and free, But in the realm of football's eternal sway, Lists of transfer targets pave the way.
So let the names dance on the lips of fans, As they weave their fantasies and make their plans, For in the realm where dreams and football collide, The pursuit of targets shall forever reside.

I thought I’d lend you this Newy

Fist off welcome to promotion, we are in the future and we have been successful, as with any other dream come true there are conditions and stipulations that come with the aforementioned. We are skint.. yours truly has been tasked with the entire internet fan page scouting task and whilst I am forever grateful for the hard work that our players have delivered but contracted or on loan I will be bringing names to the table.. just like what is off that Moneyball film where Brad Pitt keeps spitting and the fat kid tells everyone who to buy. It is that.. exactly that. (bumface spits)

1. The Goalkeeper
Luke Daniels has been quite rightly courting attention from Championship clubs, a solid professional who I think will move on in the summer. Who to replace tho? Loris Karius 29yo coming out of contract at Newcastle, suffered from a big error at Liverpool. I would gladly have him in the squad. Fairly local, quality keeper. Get him through the door.

2. The Right Back
Darnell Fisher our cult hero may well struggle to get back into the game at all. Who to go to? Jordan Williams at Barnsley? Cody Drameh at Leeds? Ben Johnson at West Ham? We need to pull out the stops in certain areas and with Ola Aina now 26yo is coming out of contract at Torino I think he may well be the one to do it for. Proven genuine quality who will shine under Michael Carrick.

3. The Left Back
Marc Bola, the hero of many a game under Neil Warnock, falls between the cracks somewhat in more central positions. He deserves regular game time. Left Back is a tricky one for me, but I'm going into the under sourced market of the MLS Kai Wagner at 26yo should have been playing in Europe by now.. currently at Philadelpia Union and out of contract in December. Ticks boxes and in the end is an easy pick.

4. The Ball Playing Central Defender
Anfernee Dijksteel has fallen out of favour, still a top defender and has served us well. Easier said than done to replace. Louis Patris the 21yo Belgian right back currently at OH Leuven reminds me very much of John Stones. 5'11 may cause a gasp or two from the uninitiated. The ball playing defender has to be in consideration for me. Underrated, unheard of.. well not for long. Lets get on it.

5. The Central Defender
Grant Hall never really let the side down, a solid championship defender that has found a better fit elsewhere. All power to him and I genuinely wish him the best of luck. Nat Philips now 26yo has been wasted at Liverpool for me I've been impressed most times I've seen him but he will still struggle to get regular time in this Liverpool side. Step forward.. us! pretty sure he has some family link with the club, and it would make sense for him to settle into a newly promoted side to make his mark. Might be a bit pricey as he's highly rated. Known to Woodgate and in the Woodgate mold. £8m anyone?

6. The Defensive Midfielder
Alex Mowatt has been a good egg for us when he's had the chance. In this position Max Bird has impressed me tremendously at Derby still in league one and with one of the most important positions on the pitch at Premier League level I'm taking no chances Ardon Jashari the 20yo Swiss midfielder with World Cup experience available from FC Luzern for around £5.5m no messing, put the money on the table.

7. The Right Winger
Jeremy Sivi appeared and disappeared, maybe time to move on. I'm not gonna pretend other wise with this next guy. BeverleyRed rates him so what more do you need to hear. He is absolutly nailed on to join us on loan, Uruguayan right winger, Spanish and ex Man Utd.. he is pure Boro Bingo Facundo Pellistri 21 year old has been a boro player from the day he was born.. he just didn't know it. *DESTINY SIGNING*

8. The Central Midfielder
Project Martin Payero seems to have come to an end, the will and the spirit was there to make the dream come alive.. but the intensity and sheer quantity of games laid waste to the possibility of the new Julio Arca cutting some rug on the reg. With this in mind I swapped out my first choice as seen below for a more defensive minded player with more experience. A dogged runner good in the tackle and good in the air. Someone, anyone who can perhaps hold a light to the indomitable Jonny Howson.. at 27yo Ellyes Skhiri currently plying his trade with FC Koln, out of contract in the summer and perhaps not what Michael Carrick would be initially looking at (like the rest of my picks tbh) Born in France, Tunisian national.. very impressive the last two seasons and I think could do a job in the prem. Max Bird on standby anyone?

9. The Main Striker
The diamond that was Rodrigo Muniz, cast aside by a single minded Neil Warnock.. only for him to be scooped up by Fulham from under our very noses. All things considered I'm dropping a last minute £9m on the table for one of my past favourite.. the familiar sounding Lassina Traoré from Shakhtar Donetsk the 22yo he has been out for a year after tearing his ACL in the champions league against Inter Milan. We've got the rest of the crew signed sealed and delivered.. this one is being paid for by the fringe players that didn't quite make it.

10. The Attacking Midfielder
The Rise of Stephen Walker doesn't look like it will be happening here. For my number 10 pick.. I've actually cut him from the midfield with a view to retaining Chuba Akpom.. I have selected the Ecuadorian Midfielder Jose Cifuentes currently plying his trade in MLS for LAFC at 24yo I would say he is in that Paul Pogba in-between role of number 8 and number 10, I think he would compliment our existing players and bring enough to that table to make an impact. Out of contract in December for an extra brucie's bonus.

11. The Left Winger
Hayden Coulson has been offered a new contract and has been doing very well in the SPL by all accounts. Former left back, wing back winger.. we're gonna need an upgrade. Beyond Anthony Elanga and not counting our existing Aaron Ramsey.. I'm looking at quality premier league players out of contract dropping out of the prem with their teams. Mohamed Elyounoussi at 28yo currently with Southampton cuts the mustard for me. Would I prefer someone from Bournemouth? Perhaps a Norwegian or a former player? Yes.. but were on a budget and we've already bought everyone who is already here. JOB DONE

I know you like your free agents Newy but what makes you rate the Swansea defender? Never really stood out to me.
as a replacement for Anfernee Dijksteel.. 22yo around 28 appearances.. 2 goals, 3 assists
say 5 goal involvements in 30 appearances 1 in 6 is a decent return plus 90.6% pass completion. So he would fit in with Carrick’s style of play. I think he’s progressed nicely at Swansea and will continue to do so.
