Interesting how it's all panning out.

Very, very difficult to pick a team you'd think "yeah.....they'll go all the way".

Think there could be a few surprises post season👍

Yes Jedi GO Bills against Bengals tonite!

But also please don’t forget to beat the Pats on weekend to complete the long going magical star alignment of my Steelers playoff chances….

PIT beat CLE + BUF beat NE + NYJ beat MIA🙏

Methinks latter will be the toughest🏈

Thought I'd catch up on the score while on break and shocked to see that the game hasn't been cancelled after Hamlin collapsed, was given CPR and then rushed to hospital.
Can't imagine either side is in the right frame of mind to continue.

I woke early to watch and it such a shocking thing to see it was the right call by the nfl

Prayers and thoughts are with damar and his family.

Terrible that it took so long to postpone.
Hope the player is going to be ok, apparently teammates have been to see him so that sounds promising.

Not a lot of time to organise a replay if they want the final games to happen this coming weekend.
There was at least one game that was going to be moved timeslot depending upon the result of this one.

Read the Bills have already left for Buffalo, so no chance of the game being replayed today.

Got up to watch the highlights and couldn’t understand why there weren’t any. Awful situation and hope he makes a full recovery.

I don’t think the game will get played - not enough time given the schedule.

Horrible incident; hope Hamlin is recovering well.

Obviously the right decision to call it off. I'm not as shocked as others at the length of time it took to do it: I don't think it's in the referee's power as it is with football to call it off. I note it was the commissioner who actually made the announcement, i.e. someone not actually present at the game.
Either way, the commentators were well aware that the match wasn't going to go ahead at least 30 minutes before the official announcement, and no one appeared expectant that it would go ahead. I can't imagine it makes much difference to the victim when the call off is made official, and he's the one that matters most.

Interesting medically too; easy to assume that the arrest was caused by the collision. However, I don't know of any reason why such a collision should trigger a shocakble rhythm. This could be an underlying issue waiting to be triggered, in which case he is lucky it happened during a match and not somewhere else.

Link below in which a Dr explains how an impact at the right point of a contraction can cause your heart to go into arrhythmia leading to collapse and death.

Link contains footage of the incident, so I've put a space in it...

NFL just confirmed game will not be played this week

Monday's game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals will not be resumed this week, the NFL announced in a statement on Tuesday afternoon.
Bills safety Damar Hamlin, 24, suffered a cardiac arrest after making a tackle during Monday's game, which was postponed following the incident, and spent the night in the intensive care unit at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and remains there in critical condition, the Bills announced Tuesday.
No changes have been made to the Week 18 schedule, the league said.
"The NFL continues to be in regular contact with the medical team caring for Damar Hamlin, and also the Bills and Bengals organizations and the NFL Players Association. After speaking with both teams and NFLPA leadership, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell informed the clubs today that the Bills-Bengals game will not be resumed this week," the league said in a statement.
"The NFL has made no decision regarding the possible resumption of the game at a later date. The league has not made any changes to the Week 18 regular season schedule. We will continue to provide additional information as it becomes available."
