NFL - Damar Hamlin update

NFL just confirmed game will not be played this week

"The NFL has made no decision regarding the possible resumption of the game at a later date. The league has not made any changes to the Week 18 regular season schedule. We will continue to provide additional information as it becomes available."

By not making the Bills stay in town & play today (which would've been a horrible decision & unfair to the players), I can't see how it can be played & be fair to both teams to allow recovery & preparation for the playoffs.

Game 18 is this weekend, 7th-9th and obviously both are due to play.
Wild card weekend is 14th-16th & one or both should be playing then.
Divisional weekend is 21st & 22nd and the conference games are on the 29th.

There's just no slack to slot an extra game in and give them a decent amount of recovery time.

But KC have lost to both Buffalo & the Bengals, so the winner of the postponed game would be in the box seat to have #1 seed, so the teams may want it played.

"It's not only that the lights are on. We know that he's home. It appears all the cylinders are firing within his brain," Dr. Pritts said.
When Hamlin awoke Wednesday night, one of his first questions he asked via writing was who won the Bills-Bengals game. Doctors told him, "You won. You've won the game of life."

Incredibly he’s back for the bills and has just come on to the field in tonight pre season gam v the colts.

Great to see him back.

I liked the photo of him out with the Bengals' receivers, including the guy he collided with to cause his cardiac arrest. Admirable that such a horrible incident brought them together

Amazingly he starts tonight for the Bills v the dolphins his first game back since that night

A fantastic end to a very worrying time.

Go on DAMAR

The crazy anti vax crowd blamed the vaccine, and the conspiracy nuts claimed he was dead and the bloke we see now is a ‘look a like’.

Glad he’s back on the field
