NFL Fantasy League

3 Spots still available. Lets get them filled then I will split it into two divisions.

The new players will have to work their way up from the bottom I'm afraid.

I might give this a go despite my shocking knowledge of all things NFL.

Having said that, I was at the Metlife on Saturday night, home of my beloved Jets - and yes, Elton was brilliant. :D

Looks to me like we only need one more team. Come on - call yourselves sports fans?

THERE'S ONLY ONE BECKHAM LOCKS IN TALENTED RECEIVERS

  • Draft GradeA+
  • Proj Record8-6
  • Proj Finish7

DRAFT SUMMARY

Picking 13th overall in the opening round, There's Only One Beckham had a decent showing and assembled a team capable of making the playoffs. They aimed for a roster with balance at key positions, taking a quarterback, two running backs, and two wide receivers within the first five rounds. By the time all the picks were made, There's Only One Beckham secured one of the best trios of wide receivers in the league.
  • According to ADP, it was a bit of a reach selecting Chase Edmonds in the 6th round (84th overall pick versus an ADP of 113.8 across all NFL.com leagues).
  • If other NFL.com users are right, Kyler Murray was a steal in the 5th round (77th overall pick versus an ADP of 47.5).
  • Davante Adams will bring extra value if FMTTM Fantasy NFL has a PPR format, as he's projected to rank second in the NFL with 130 receptions.

Not looking good for me. So much for auto picks. Jesus, Daniel Jones as my QB 😱😱

Despite Some Risky Selections, Eleven-assee Titans Figures to Challenge for the Top Spot

  • Draft Grade A
  • Proj Record 10-4
  • Proj Finish 4

Draft Summary

Picking ninth overall in the draft, Eleven-assee Titans came through with a quality performance that will make it tough on opponents. With six wide receivers on the roster, Eleven-assee Titans has a lot of talent at the wide receiver position and the numbers justify the investment. Their wideouts are expected to average 189.64 points this season, more than the league average of 179.57. At another spot in the lineup, Eleven-assee Titans was able to land the highest-scoring pair of tight ends in the league.

  • Eleven-assee Titans might be interested in shopping a WR to upgrade in other areas. Their fourth-ranked WR, Marquise Brown, is projected to be better than the league average at his position.
  • If other NFL.com users are right, Tom Brady was a steal in the 7th round (105th overall pick versus an ADP of 73.9).
  • In the 8th round, caution was thrown to the wind, as Jakobi Meyers was selected at pick number 120 versus an ADP of 149.0 across all NFL.com leagues.

Seems like everyone has done better than me but I am fairly happy.

Although they are quite interesting, I don't read too much into those reports. Last year I only got a C, even though I got my #1 pick.

The players are spread very thinly.

Seems that it liked lots of our drafts. Pity votes I think!

Might have to review the 16 teams next year.
That was my fault. I assumed the two different divisions would be ran as two separate leagues with different drafts.

Bit of a balls up.

I would say that we will need to utilise trades more this year than in previous years as waiver wire wont produce a lot of options!

It just adds to the challenge I think. Previous years you would want your backup team members to score 12+ points. Perhaps this time if your 1st choice players are on a bye or injured, then your backup player picking up 5 or 6 points might not be all that bad?
