Was the rearranged fixture the one Andy Halliday scored a hat trick in?

*Edit, don't think it was a hat-trick, but he definitely came on and made a massive differnce

"A decision which was greeted by a chorus of boos from supporters."
Especially those that had to get back into a coach to head back through frozen roads north. It was pitch black when we headed off from Middlesbrough. Was it at 6am or even earlier? I know we were worried about postponement along the way as well as the state of the roads.
We must have set off earlier because we made such rapid time that we stopped at Peterborough services for an hour and still got to Portman Road well before 1pm.
The decision was controversial because it mainly seemed to be the assistant that couldn't keep his feet. The shadow of the main stand meant there was a strip of pitch that was really icy. Boro's left side had to play very narrow that day.
There was also a big argument about refunds. Ipswich were very slow in coming forward and Boro forced the issue with our fans giving us free travel to the rearranged fixture.
But it was a long day spent on a coach on the endless snow strewn A14.

Did we have to send ours back to get a ticket for the rearranged game?
Yes, a lad I worked with went & I asked him for his ticket, he told me had to send his original ticket back to exchange for the rearranged match, or refund

Yeah a short drive down for Narfalk. Think we all knew it was off before KO, it was a tad nippy. Pitch inspection at 9, playable just. Who would have thought that as the sun went down it would get even colder.
