Oasis reunion looking highly likely

It's easy money to make.
They could do a as little as 6 stadium dates around the country and they'd sell out within an hour.
A remastered and/or rerecorded anthology a bit like Fleetwood Mac's Super Deluxe version of Rumours (but with all of Oasis's songs on) prints money for them too.

They aren't getting any younger and Liam's voice is in a good place at the moment too. It could be epic.

Noel has just been divorced - his bank manager has been on the phone.

ive seen em a few times over the years, i wouldnt go to the local pub to see them for a reformation - its all about the money honey!
The money will definitely be a big factor but I think the biggest stumbling block to the two of them reconciling was Noel's wife.

I can remember Noel speaking in an interview about Liam abusing Noel's wife and Daughter, and said to Liam be prepared to take that sh*t to the grave.

You've got to think that Noel and his wife divorcing changes that massively, especially if the break-up wasn't amicable.

As a superfan, personally I wouldn’t especially be in favour. I certainly wouldn’t want them to release new music. It was a disaster for the Stone Roses and I think it’d be the same.

Obviously I’d go to a gig, but sort of reluctantly/apprehensively but refusing to miss out.

Safe to say if this goes ahead, they will sell out tickets inside minutes and will easily fill the biggest of all stadiums in the UK.

Can't imagine tickets being cheap neither, but who can blame them for charging extortionate prices. They'll sell out regardless.

One thing I've noticed is how much the break-up has helped to enhance their legacy. Everywhere you go you seem to hear Oasis. If you go to a bar or a pub and there's a singer on they will often play Oasis.

It would be interesting to see how much a reunion would affect their legacy. I think I'd be happy enough with one massive world tour, culminating in 3 nights at Knebworh and leave it there. It would be a fitting ending.

Think they're ***** me, never been a fan, never understood the hype.

They'll announce a stadium tour, could be this year, next, 5 years time whenever. Tickets will be a fortune, it'll sell out in a minute, along with some sort of new album or remastered old stuff album, loads of merch, make silly money, blah blah just not for me but yeah i think they'll come back and make a mint and for their fans it'll be unreal.

It won’t be unreal for me. I’d honestly rather they didn’t bother. But I wouldn’t be able to resist going to a gig out of curiosity etc. I think it should be left in the 90s.

Even in the 00s they were basically a different band, with 60% new personnel. I still liked them but it did feel like a long, slow breakup and for a lot of it I just wanted Noel to go solo.

After our game on Saturday 'Rock n Roll Star' was played and there was a guy who looked like he was in his 60's playing air guitar. I thought to myself fair play to you fella.

Then when I got down to the concourse 'Importance of being Idle' was being played, although sadly there was nobody playing air guitar.

If they did a world tour I’d honestly go somewhere they’re not that big to watch them in a smaller venue. Helsinki or something.

I’ve got no desire to see them try to recreate Knebworth, or even see them at the Etihad or whatever.

Was a big fan back in the day, not so much now as my tastes have changed.

Saw them towards the end at the Etihad and despite probably lacking the visceral energy of their early gigs, they were very good, professional even :)

That said, NGHFB are playing round this way later in the year, always been curious so I might pop down and see them. Fact the Cribs are on the undercard is a massive bonus too.
