One-off Boro appearances/goals you've seen in person

I hope that thread title makes sense. What have you seen (in person, at the ground) that a lot of other Boro fans might not have seen?

One-off appearances - I was at Fulham for Alex Baptiste's only appearance, and I was at Charlton for Dejan Stojanovic's debut, which is the only time Boro fans have ever been able to watch him in person.

One-off goals - I was at Rotherham for Mikel's only goal, and I was at Brentford for Amorebieta's legendary goal.

So what else have we got?
Who was there when Caleb Folan played? Jordan Jones? Christian Burgess? Jamal Blackman? Nathan McGinley? Bilal Brahimi?
And will any of us ever see Dael Fry score??

Kike Sola at home to Blackburn. I'm sure got hooked at HT after not even looking like a footballer. I don't think I've seen a worse signing? 45 mins and never played again.

A Truely bizzare loan signing🙄

I really can't wait for Fry to score from a corner. I think Warnock will soil himself.

I was there to witness Caleb Folan, pretty much summed up that era of following Boro!

John Johnson's one and only appearance as a sub when we got smashed 5-0 by Chelsea, before moving onto India.

Dave Shearer scoring twice against Chelsea springs to mind, but its that long ago I probably imagined it.

I also saw Kike Sola's entire career for us with the cameo away to MK Dons.

I came close to seeing him again in Spain a little later

In other one-offs, my first game was in 1974, along with another debutant, Tom Paterson. He never played for us again but I've borrowed his name for here.

I saw Alan Wright’s only away “performance”, away at Fulham but not at Craven Cottage...

one of two appearances for us.

I was there at Watford for Dwight Tiendalli's only (I think) game for us. 2014-15.

Ragdolled along with the CB pairing of Amorebieta and Woodgate by Deeney and Ighalo. Watford showed that day they were beating us to automatic.

Tommy Patterson, played one game (at home) for us in 1976 I think it was. Can’t remember who it was against now. Maybe someone can?

Maxi Hass at Hull, looking at his wiki page he only made another 10 games after he left us

I remember Paul Forrester coming on as a sub during a game in the early 90s. Think it might've been against Bolton, a 1-0 defeat. I don't think he played any more games for us than that but it was a time when Lennie's thin squad was stretched to the limit and quite a few young lads were involved.

I was there for what I think was Andy Collett's only game for the first team - a 3-2 win at Hillsborough in 1993, the day we went back down despite getting the win. I remember him having a good game.

I saw Fabio's game in 1997/98, and was there for *that* Keith O'Halloran game against Derby County when he played left back and had an absolute nightmare. I know he played a few more games for us but nobody remembers them. Not even Keith.

I was there for Chris Bennion's only Boro game - Macclesfield Town in the League Cup, around 1999/2000.

I'd love to know if anyone on here was at Fratton Park for the game with Portsmouth when Ian Johnson hit the post. I'm sure it was his only appearance for the first team.

Useless Eustace. He got about five minutes at Anfield in the 1-1 draw. Geremi scored a pearler of a free kick.

I was trying to remember his name when I was writing my original post! I knew there was someone to whom these embarrassing details applied, but couldn't remember the name, season or opposition.

I was there for Kike Sola's home debut against Blackburn and remember him being absolutely terrible but I think what makes it really stick in the memory is that we'd just signed Jordan Rhodes, who was left on the bench. Sola was so far off the pace it was unreal.
