The burning question is, will this ridiculously titled move by Johnson be enough to save him? It goes beyond parody and makes Yes, Prime Minister seem like the serious business of running government!

Sadly, yes. If he was going to resign he would have. The "Sue Gray" nonsense is just a delaying tactic, there will be numerous dead cats and a few juniors and civil servants will be sacked and he'll lie his way through it. The Tories aren't ready to appoint a successor yet so nothing will happen.

He's clinging on like a turd that won't drop. Gray will let him off the hook, he will fire civil servants, they will leak video footage of wrong doings and dog breath will be back to Sq1.

I think most Tories realise that far from being yesterday's news, tomorrow's news is likely to bring more problems. Can't wait to see what is revealed next.

Memes are going to be off the scale hilarious.

They will need to run some seriously accurate polling: they have a fine balance between traditional Tories who will be rolling their eyes at this and their new mates who cheer on Boris, crying 'nobody cares!' and 'he was trying his best!'

I think he'll survive because of the latter: they won't want to lose those new voters as it meant a majority.

I’m afraid so, as I said back in December when wales Scotland and NI were introducing restrictions, the Big Dog was keeping England open despite the scientists telling him otherwise. This was all a gamble by the Big Dog so that he could proclaim in January;

Got Brexit done
Successfully rolled out vaccine
Successfully rolled out booster
Saved Christmas
Kept England open whilst the rest of Europe was closed for business.

The Big Dog lovers will lap this up and unfortunately will keep him in the nightclub that is Number 10

Big dog has positioned too many of his mates into powerful places. He has the media & police. He will be here a good while yet - shiting on the UK from a height.

Much as I want him and his party out. Could it be that keeping him in office for a bit longer will improve Labour's chance at the next election.
after all his next big **** up/ big lie is just around the corner.
That's exactly what I have been thinking

He'll survive this unfortunately.
As much as the polls put Labour in the lead and you hear the public indignation at the antics, when it comes to actually voting I think you'll find many will revert to being shy Tories.
Sunak is too clever to go for the leadership right now as is Gove. You're left with Truss and the rest who'd make things worse without commanding any of the blind loyalty that Johnson seems to engender with his his bluster.

He won’t resign. It’ll be taken out of his hands but the Tories will leave it until the local government elections. Unless the next revelations are even more extreme. Over to you Mr Cummings.
