Thats alot of brand new sign ups in a few weeks in March. :)

OK they get EB prices, but as we are told by many posters our EB prices for new fans are expensive.

My guess is that season ticket sales will be higher next season, even if we are still in the Championship (about 55% chance according to the bookies).

Its starting to feel like a Riverside Revolution Mark II.

How did they qualify for EB prices if they were not renewing?

Just past 10,000 bought so far when they last publicly announced it 3 days ago.

Plenty will be leaving it late to renew though.
I was assuming pretty much all existing card holders would renew.
I would guess that a a good few more will shift if we do get promoted (at full price).

You’re assuming everyone who currently has a season ticket is renewing though.

I’m sure most will, but not all.

My guess it will be around 98% - there will be a few hundred unfortunately who have become too ill and frail or have passed away or emigrated.

Nearly half of STs will buy in the last few days of the EB deadline, no incentive to buy earlier as there are plenty of seats still to chose from and your own seat is saved.

Could hit 21k come beginning of next season (based on Championship) - we have 24k now who are coming to almost every game under Carrick

I would if the cost of living crisis impacts on sales?

There's now just one week left to take advantage of Early Bird prices to buy or renew your Season Card for 2023/24.
It's an exciting time to be a Boro fan, with Michael Carrick's side soaring up the Sky Bet Championship table on the back of some exhilarating performances and excellent results, and we've already welcomed over 1,000 new sign-ups for next campaign.

Season Cards offer significant savings compared to match-by-match purchases, your Riverside seat secured for the campaign, and Priority Points for in-demand fixtures.

The Early Bird deadline is 5pm on Friday 31 March.

Plus some who are not ill, still alive, still in this country and who don’t want to renew.

We all know people who have had season tickets but no longer do.

Forest fans complaining about new prices

'Plans to expand Nottingham Forest's City Ground have been approved by councillors.

A scheme to redevelop the City Ground was first put forward in 2019 but has been given greater urgency since the club's promotion to the Premier League.

The total cost for the project is now expected to be in excess of £94m.

Rushcliffe Borough Council's planning committee voted to approve plans which will see the ground's capacity increase to 35,000 at a meeting on Thursday.'

£94m to increase capacity from 30k to 35k.
It's cost MFC a fraction of that to reduce the Riverside from 35k to 32k.

YR - I am writing about 2023/24 season which is not typical of past seasons because of how the team is performing over 2 points per game and lots of goals. Normally renewals would not be 98%, but what I have seen in the last 5 months is not nomal - some of us think its the best since Big Jack in 1973/4 or Robbo in 1997/98.

NC - I would have said the same 6 months ago about cost of living and I acknowledge some peope are really struggling, but some how around 26,500 home fans are now turning up week in week out and the cost of living crisis has been with us for around 12 months now. 7,500 of which are not season ticket holders i.e have not paid in advance. Econonically I expect inflation to drop from 10% to very close to average pay increase levels 6.5% over the next 12 months. (wholesale gas and oil prices have dropped a lot and that will soon feed through in lower prices I noticed ESSO petrol near the Riverside was down to 139.9p per litre from around 180p a year ago).

J69 - Price of STs has risen agreed, mine by 6.6% - On the income side National living wage is going up by 9.7% in 7 days time. State Pensions by 10% - average wages must be rising by around 6.5% at present.

My guess is close to 21k Season ticket cards will be issued for next season - what do you guys think? then lets see who is closest.

I think you’re probably right. Renewals will be very high and I agree there will be a lot of new season ticket holders too.

I was just pointing out that people sometimes choose not to renew for any number of reasons.
