Over 13,000 Season Cards

We sold 19,000 last season all together, 18,000 early birds compared to 15,000 last season, adding 4,000 to our current figure would leave us at 22k. Be quality that
Tought I'd read somewhere that we sold circa 1,000 half season tickets at Christmas, putting us at around 20,000?

I renewed in East Stand Upper - £590 Early Bird. I spoke to a friend today who sits close by. Times are hard and he has had his season ticket close twenty years but he had to renewed this year using finance via club. Not certain but I think he said his credit agreement was £670 for the same seat. I Understand there is a premium for not being able to afford to pay for your season ticket up front but this sounds a bit aggressive - I think this is more than buying outside of EB for new applicants.

It looks like I underestimated at 21,000 season tickets by the start of the season with posters predicting 22,500 now. That would be higher than we had under Steve McClaren in the Premier League in days of Viduka, Hasselbaink and Southgate etc

Next season we could be averaging 28,000 crowds.

if anyone is debating to get a season card for next season. get in now, dont dilly dally, sales will go mental if we actually over take the blades. people might start getting twitchy as the sales creep up and the likelihood of us going up increases. if we go up i reckon we'd have season ticket waiting list again.

There is an arrangement fee of £40.90, so he should be paying £630.90.

I don’t think tickets will still be available if/when that happens? Sales stop tomorrow and likely won’t start again until the season concludes

How many if we go up? We’ll be capped off surely

I appear to be the only one jumping off the bandwagon (although I’ve had a season ticket for nearly 40 years).

I’ll be glad when the deadline passes so I’m not tempted to renew.
Hopefully we can finish this season on a high. 'The Carrick Years' feel like they are going to be special. From Liquidation, The Riverside, Cup Finals, Relegation, Promotion, League Cup Win, European Cup Runs, European Cup Final, Relegation, Promotion, Relegation.. on our way to Promotion again with plenty of giant killings under the belt and on the way.

I don't think you could have picked a better team for drama!! Not many fans will get to see those highs and lows over a 40 year period.

The arrangement fee was £50.27 - on a £590 season ticket they repay £640.27 - seems a bit steep to me

Good call.
Next season could be massive.
I've had my ST for over 15 years now and while it's always been about the football, the social side is a big thing too. My mate and his Dad who live in Blyth / Tynemouth used to go to the games too but they gave up their STs during Covid and so now I do a 100-mile round trip for a home game on my own and it's not the same (though the footy is of course much better than under Warnock and Wilder).

I'm also getting an Ashington ST next year too so will be going to their games too so thought I'd give the Boro ST up but when push comes to shove I couldn't so have renewed anyway.

I know what you mean.
I went on my own for years, before my son came of age and somehow became a massive Boro fan. It's a lot more fun with company, especially for away games.
Any chance of you producing offspring, if only for football purposes?

I already have 3 daughters and a son, none of which show any interest at all in football sadly. My son plays footy with me occasionally in the garden but he's more interested in lego! He's only 9 he still has time but I was football mad from the day I could stand up.

If it's over 20k, just from the early bird alone, then that is incredible, especially with the fact we're in the Championship.

Haha. No Idea you had a big family!
Your son should soon be ready for a gentle introduction to the Riverside , but your right bit to rush into it.
I took mine just before his 6th birthday for his first game, but didn't take him regularly until he was 8 or 9.
