Half watching it .. what was the car crash all about have they showed how it ends at the start.

Only jist im getting is the son has a major bee in his bonnet about ben getting killed and the private detective seems very dodgy

Sure the car crash you're referring I thought was meant to be a dream sequence ... the path they're onto is going to end badly for everyone.

I felt the Son is indeed feeling anger and completely lost trust in his parents after what happened to Ben. How can he feel safe any longer working under their care?? He can no longer trust Marty and Wendy. A very smart kid too, creating his own software for laundering and what-not, moving to work for Ms. Snell .. he's a smart kid and going to run rings around everyone I reckon come to the end. I'm probably gonna be wrong, but so far, it feels that way.

You get a huge shock every couple of episodes that just throw all your theories up in the air :ROFLMAO: He could end up killed next episode I am about to watch.

I'll see how it pans out ... just loved every minute of it, yet really really uncomfortable to watch.

Most of my friends who are obsessed with modern-day series in the binge-age .. even folk who have loved everything from The Wire, The Sopranos .. to this ... they mostly tell me that Ozark is too dark for them! I find that surprising. It is indeed a hard watch but I think it is one of the best I have ever seen in the Netflix age. I think it is equally as good as Breaking Bad in many ways, better in others. Outstanding acting from all involved.

Now, I wish they would hurry up and finish Better Call Saul season 6. Another that is going to be longer than the usual ten episodes a season, as it meets up to the Breaking Bad timeline. Such a shame that Bob Odenkirk had a heart attack on set filming for it, to delay it even further after Covid rules prevented it from being released for the date it was supposed to be delivered, last year I think. Way things are going, fans are probably going to have to wait until 2023.

That is going to be a challenge, as characters such as Mike are not getting any younger, so playing earlier timeline scenes etc may struggle to look as convincing. But it ain't too bad a thing, it's just a story after all. Just hurry up already BCS!! I have no doubt it will be ten times better than El Camino the BB film. I thought that was incredibly poor, to be honest.

Just seen the last episode in this half-season. Superb stuff.

If you haven't seen Ozark yet, then it's well worth a watch. Possibly the best series of the past 5 years?

Without giving anything away Ruths acting in the final episode was utterly brilliant.
Absolutely love her character, she is a total star
She's the star of the show for me, I know everyone says it's all about the Byrde's but Wendy in particular is horrible.

Ozark is great, definitely feel like it’s gone under the radar compared to other shows, maybe because it can be a slow burner and a bit dark. Certainly got better as it’s gone along too and I can’t wait for the rest.

I recently binged The Americans and I felt that’s similar in that it’s got some fantastic performances and storylines, but I rarely see it mentioned on peoples best show lists. It’s on my list anyway!

The acting is splendid throughout, but yes, Wendy Byrde is a very unlikeable character (as is Darlene Snell). Extra credit to the actors for their roles I think!

Just finished the latest batch of episodes. Some great moments in there, although I find the plot very convoluted and full of U-turns. New things constantly crop up and are instantly resolved. Anyway, it's good overall. I was very pleased by one of the things that happened in the final few moments of episode 7.

Started watching the new series and I’m surprised by how bored I have become by it.

I’ll probably finish it at some point but the thought doesn’t really excite me.

Started watching it ages go. Then had so many series to watch we gave up on it.

Have started watching it again due to this thread. Reached season 2 now. Still recapping what we saw ages ago.

Really enjoying it.

Stick with it, I said the same to the missus after the first 2-3 episodes and I'm a huge fan but trust me it comes back, absolutely awesome.

This season has been a bit weak.
I think last season was meant to be the finale, they got season 4 commissioned & so switched the s.3 ending round but have now run out of ideas on how to develop the characters & move the story along in a fashion which is true to the characters.

The holes are getting too big to ignore.

I'll watch Part 2 but I'm not counting down the days.

I know what you mean.

I was pleased it was coming back but quickly became disinterested.

It is always sad when good TV programmes are ruined by being over extended.
