If this was to happen it would the end of English football as we know it as it would alter everything that makes our game so unique.

it would be a shocking step in the wrong direction for me with only one purpose to make prem clubs better and oh yes richer.

how do you feel about this proposal.

It would almost certainly benefit the English game overall but nothing is worth sacrificing the dozens of teams it would send into oblivion.

In Spain they allow B teams to play in the top tiers but i think there is a rule that no B teams are allowed to play in the Primera Liga. It hasn't killed Spanish football.

Money is killing football.

May be a slight over-reaction, but honestly think it would kill football for me. Just more power, more players for the Premiership elite.......the likes of Boro will be feeding on even smaller scraps. Don't think it would ever happen - would the EFL vote to kick 10? 12?14? Clubs into the Conference to allow all the top PL teams to field a B team? Don't think so.

So, agree with the poster above - Pep can just f*ck off.

They’ll find away to make this happen I’m sure.. just like the super league (which will end up just being the premier league)

Maybe once the super leave teams are set.. they’ll let them have sister clubs that can’t go higher than the champo.. which will in effect be PL2

Has it not?
La Liga has been a four horse race for years, Real, Barca, Atletico and then any one of Villarreal, Valencia, Sevilla and Atletico Bilbao depending on what shenanigans are occuring in their respective boardrooms. Malaga threw money here there and everywhere a few years back and are now stuck in the second division.

Bilbao been one of the most sensibly ran clubs in Europe.

How can it be a benefit to the English game if teams will be sent into oblivion - that doesn't make sense to me.

Also a big no from me.
Because young players who struggle for game time currently would be training at elite facilities with top coaches and playing men’s football at the same time instead of being stifled in the reserves or being farmed out on loan for years on end. It would undoubtedly benefit the national team, but it would destroy what makes the domestic game so special.

It would benefit player development no doubt, but would kill the football league in the process. Championship is one of the best supported leagues in Europe, that can’t be ignored for the sake of the big 6

Sadly it will happen eventually, too much money and power for the big clubs for it not to, and if they don’t get their own way they will eventually form their own league anyway
