Musk is just a South African frontman for the ultra rich, he probably ticks their boxes.Interesting. What a UK Court deems worthy of a substantial custodial sentence doesn't even breach user guidelines in Musk's bold reimagining of Twitter.
I wish paedophiles were treated so swiftly & harshly by the justice system.
OfI can't believe anyone truly thinks this deserves a custodial sentence. I am sure we had a thread a few weeks ago with much of the same posters proclaiming too many people are sent to prison.
Blame the Tories for failing to have the prison capacity to align with their failure to resolve the causes of crime. So the Government releases hardened criminals to send people down who tweet. It beggars belief. Some were rearrested as soon as they left.
Sticks and stones and all that shoite.
The Tories handed over the keys to Labour, they opened to cells.Blame the Tories for failing to have the prison capacity to align with their failure to resolve the causes of crime.
Also I tweet so why am I not prison… oh because I don’t tweet for people to burn people alive, that’s probably why.
"Originally launched in October 2023, this early release scheme was brought in to address capacity pressures on the prison estate. Prisoners were initially released 18 days early, but the measure has been repeatedly expanded over the last six months. Over the course of the scheme, over 10,000 offenders were released." 30 seconds work. There's none so blind...The Tories handed over the keys to Labour, they opened to cells.
Me, I think this deserves a custodial sentence. I also think she's bang to rights by the letter of the law (and so did she). The fact that the law of this country thinks this kind of racist bile is wrong, and the likes of Elon Musk and Dan Wootton thinks it is a freedom of speech issue, makes me think our law is the right side of the line.I can't believe anyone truly thinks this deserves a custodial sentence. I am sure we had a thread a few weeks ago with much of the same posters proclaiming too many people are sent to prison.
And as for these for whom do not fit the criteria for release but were all the same and on who's authority!!!"Originally launched in October 2023, this early release scheme was brought in to address capacity pressures on the prison estate. Prisoners were initially released 18 days early, but the measure has been repeatedly expanded over the last six months. Over the course of the scheme, over 10,000 offenders were released." 30 seconds work. There's none so blind...
Too many are sent to prison but until the whole system is reformed, this is how we have to punish people for encouraging murder during an active riot where that is a distinct possibility. The sentence she received is comparable to those received by others prosecuted for similar offences recently.I can't believe anyone truly thinks this deserves a custodial sentence. I am sure we had a thread a few weeks ago with much of the same posters proclaiming too many people are sent to prison.
I don’t think she has recieved a custodial sentence, it seems to have been reported in a misleading way.Me, I think this deserves a custodial sentence. I also think she's bang to rights by the letter of the law (and so did she). The fact that the law of this country thinks this kind of racist bile is wrong, and the likes of Elon Musk and Dan Wootton thinks it is a freedom of speech issue, makes me think our law is the right side of the line.
Sticks and stones? So the Government releases hardened criminals to send people down who tweet. It beggars belief. Some were rearrested as soon as they left.
Sticks and stones and all that shoite.
I absolutely believe that this deserves a custodial sentence.I can't believe anyone truly thinks this deserves a custodial sentence. I am sure we had a thread a few weeks ago with much of the same posters proclaiming too many people are sent to prison.
The Tories had already announced they were also going to “open the cells” due to over capacity. Unfortunately it’s just another part of the system that is broken after years of mismanagement. The Tories handed over the keys to Labour, they opened to cells.
You don't think encouraging arson and atempted murder deserves a prison sentence?I can't believe anyone truly thinks this deserves a custodial sentence. I am sure we had a thread a few weeks ago with much of the same posters proclaiming too many people are sent to prison.
