PMQ's on Wednesday

PMQ's is totally pointless. It's just bluster and excessively adversarial. The PM (regardless of who they are) doesn't answer questions directly and the sight of MP's shouting and pointing at each other embarrassing.

It is a bit like Groundhog Day.
It is however impressive that he has the brass neck to turn up.

Certainly death by a thousand cuts, but he looks doomed at long last. He even had Museum Piece Mogg out last night threatening his back benchers with an election and throwing Rishi under the Party Bus.

Just need to see his party pics now, once the report is published. This will illustrate that he and his staff also lied to Sue Gray as he lied to Lord Guite.

There is a iceberg of evidence against Johnson and the biggest blows are still to be landed. Wait until he starts scapegoating (firing people) and they leak more damning evidence against him and his ministers.

The Red Wall MP's have nothing to fear. Johnson has damaged them beyond repair in the eyes of their constituents.

Thanks for the responses nses, some very thought provoking.
Johnson has done Sunak over by saying he never authorised the writing off of £4.3bn in covid fraud.

Whenever Johnson is removed he will not be going quietly and will take the whole Tory house of cards with him.
Yes, he has. However, it's most likely another lie....

Either way it's on record, so Sunak either needs to be a good boy and take it or call his boss a lair.
Indeed it is. We need to hear Sunaks response today. He is now also on record for saying he will publish the report when asked the question.

And now on the subject of who let the dogs out of Afghanistan.

Boris previously stated he had nothing to do with it. It would be improper for me to intervene.

Now there's an official foreign office email confirming Boris approved the air lift.

Bye Boris. Take your trampy missus and dodgy wall paper with you. There's a good chap.

Can't buy a break from the ties to his lies...

Good.

I have the distinct feeling he isn't going to go any time soon. He's like the turd that won't flush. PMQs is as BiggEggo said, Groundhog Day and a waste of time. Whatever Starmer says, Johnson just replies with bluster and easily debunked lies about vaccines and the economy. Why they don't pull him up on that, I really don't know. What will it take to shift the turd?

I’ve said all along that we are in the midst of our very own version of ; TRUMP BRITAIN. He knows our constitution is ambiguous with relation to misleading parliament.
His most dangerous opponent is the back benchers and those 54 letters. I don’t think they have the moral gumption to achieve that number and so they will limp on until the may elections whereby Johnson (Trump) will bound around the country looking to win over hearts and minds with his bluster and his unique brand of ‘charm’ fully convinced that he will win people over and deliver a decent enough result for the Tories again to afford him more time….

That’s what will happen.

I think too many people have had it with him though
Although the English voters are thick generally they do know a con artist and someone who has been talking the Micky and won’t have it.
Just after May he’ll probably go….
I could be wrong though because Tory MPs are wedded to Johnson like republicans are to Trump and his ‘disturbed base’

interesting times

Yep, I think a disaster in May ends him. If it happens.

You are right. We have a problem where breaking the ministerial code should lead to resignation. He has broken that by lying to the House. Everyone in there knows it too. Unfortunately, not enough people on his side of the house are prepared to do the right thing (we know full well he won't do that himself)
