Police Brutality

The lawyer acts on instructions, but he also offers advice to those he’s defending (raising his own profile at the same time by the looks of it). As posted somewhere above, not the sort i’d want representing me. He’s organised the protest outside the police station apparently where many are playing the ‘police are racist’ card.

There was a bit more in the press about what allegedly happened, bloke and their mother had a barney on the plane, it kicked off at baggage reclaim, she told her sons who went after the bloke outside arrivals. Sounds plausible.

None of that alters the simple fact that kicking a man in the head and stamping on him are indefensible, especially when that man was laid on the floor with his arms by his side.

Ahkmed Yakoob’s honesty and integrity has been brought into question, he is currently under investigation.

His use of ridiculously sensationalist, attention seeking language such as “assassination “ and reporting that the suspects’ policeman brother fears being killed if he goes back to work are grossly irresponsible and clearly risk fanning the flames and sewing further division.

That’s not all of the incident clearly but how they handled the family filming them in a non threatening manner looks pretty appalling. You can’t just spray someone with Pava and get them in a headlock for filming you.
Those lads are saying it wasn’t us, we haven’t done anything and maybe this has picked off through mistaken identity? I’m sure that will all come out in the wash.

Having watched all of these clips I am now very confused as to what actually happened:
Agreed. There does appear to be spots of blood already on the floor so some form of altercation may have already taken place, but there is no evidence that it was these guys

IOPC have announced already they are looking at a criminal proseuction for the officer stamping on the lad's head and using his PAVA spray inappropriately. He's goosed and rightly so.

The spots of blood are probably from the policewomans nose.
agreed, although we don't know the circumstances of that injury, or if these lads had anything to do with it. Something has occurred, something has escalated, but it's dangerous to jump to conclusions with no evidence. If one of them has punched a female cop, I'll be the first to say throw the book at him, but it's all speculation so far.

So I'm told that the young police woman was headbutted by one of the males...
I don't care what religion either of them were...that is disgusting
He will hopefully go to prison for that
Secondly the officer who boots the guy on the floor in the head and stamps on him...disgusting
He will also go to prison for that
The problem here is that the family have tried to circumvent the system quoting religion as a reason not to comply and them using religion as a means to further underline the following events

Its about follwing the laws of the countey in whoxh you live or travel to...simple....

Who do these people think they are that they can do thay in our airports...headbutt a woman for doing her job

I don't care about religion I despise it...it will be the.end of our beautiful planet one day and it's what we deserve

The lad headbutting was sticking up for his mam In his own head however...

The officr kicking was sticking up for his wounded colleague...but against a man who presented no threat At all at that time..

He had red mist as they call it and he will go to jail for it ..its shocking to watch

But im told the headbufootgaeage is awful as well

But to stick the nut on a female cop simply trying to do her job equally disgusting and that person needs to go to prison

This is a bad case at a bad time along with Leeds the rear rank of this country needs to steady but I really do fear that the religious groups of this country are about to fu%% this country right up..and when I say religions I mean extremist Muslims...

I do not pray...I am not religious
But I do believe the energy we have goes somewhere after life and sometimes I look forward to being there...away from this God awful place we call earth

Final note...
The earth is also wonderful amazing beautiful full of good peolple doing good things who get drowned out...
All evil needs to prosper is that good people do nothing....??

Definitely final mesage

We need evidence that this occurred rather than hearsay
There is footage within the police world that hasn't been published as its evidential I believe
This could be wrong but it does sound correct based on some other accounts I've read
If i was the police commissioner i may consider taking the unusual step of publishing that to quell the religiois racial tensions a little
They tend not to do that though USA style its held to be prejudicial to the trial
howwver the public are not bound by those same disclosure rules.
Have some mates in the job.
One of the chaps pops the nut on her...don't know if it's broken or not

What in reality is needed is a little patience now. I know it’s very unlikely to be forthcoming here but it should be said anyway.

One officer at least has been suspended. As far as I am aware no arrests have been made in the case.

We have seen limited mobile phone footage of perhaps only of part of things. There will be a lot of additional evidence for the police to gather, for example but not exclusively, mobile phone evidence/CCTV/medical evidence and witness statements will all need to be obtained.

Suspects in part of the investigation may also be possible victims in the case as well.

Suspects will need to be interviewed under caution, when their accounts taken and after the investigation is complete a decision will be made as to whether or there is sufficient evidence to charge anyone with any offences.

If anyone is charged, the presumption of innocence will apply to each and every defendant up until the point they plead or are found guilty.

If anyone raises the issue of self defence relating to any charge of physical violence the prosecution will have to disprove that beyond a reasonable doubt.

There is a long way to go in the case I wouldn’t expect a CPS decision for months.

If people plead not guilty and are on bail, a Crown Court trial in the North West (unless expedited) will probably not take place until 2026.
