Generally try to avoid these, overcrowded, expensive and often not the sort of things that grab my interest anyway, but occasionally you go to ones that are just superb. Some of my favourites below, what others do people have?

Atomium, Brussels
TV Tower, Berlin
Legoland and Lego House, Denmark
Miniworld, Hamburg

Not certain how well known that last one is, but definitely the busiest attraction in the city.

Another shout out for miniature wonderland in Hamburg. It featured on a michael portillo program many years ago, thats how a lot of people including myself knew about it.

Others to mention
Stasi museum on magdalena straßa in Berlin.
DDR museum in Berlin.
Church of St Cyril and methodious in Prague (re operation arthropod).
Sansucci palace in Potsdam.

Really cool Miniworld in Hamburg. Did you also go see the Russian Submarine?

Staying on the German theme. I’d recommend anyone to go to Eibsee in Garmisch. Crystal clear lake with a stunning view of the Alps. Also the site of Germanys highest mountain. Zugspitze which you can go up on a cable car. Really cool and placid. You can just about hear your hair grow.

HMS Belfast
Castle Museum, York (for the nostalgia of how jaw dropping I found the old street recreations when I was a little kid)
Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich - favourite art gallery.

Cairo Museum
Cathedral of Our Lady of Paris - Notre Dame
St Michael's Mount - Cornwall
Mont Saint Michel - Normandy

Sacre Coeur Basilica.
Notre Dam ( went before the Fire).
Palace of Versailles.
The Louvre

Normandy
D-day Landing Beaches
Caen Bayeux Tapestry

Rome.
The Basilica
St Peters Square
Sistine Chapel
Pantheon
Colosseum

Barcelona
The Sagrada Familia.

London
St Pauls Cathedral
Denmark Street

Lots of great places around the UK

This Year Suffolk and perhaps Germany - Rust Europa Park with the family and the rest of the gang.

Place I'm happiest to visit with the full family, Orlando and all its Theme Parks stopping in WDW hotel, no history or grandeur its not high brow and sophisticated. Barrel of laughs and happiness and fun with them all, more than I could wish for. Started with 4 of us in 1998 now all the kids partners grandchildren and even the grand daughters partner. I wont go until Trump and mob are gone for good, that's if I'm still around, Cost £1800 in Health Insurance for me after the cancer.

Places I`d like to have went to London Marquee Club, oh well never mind.

Berlin: all of it. Fascinating place.

Italy: Rome and Sicily

Greek Islands

The Pyramids. It was always high on my bucket list and always looks stunning in the photos and films.

That's definitely not the experience. Basically constantly harassed about buying sh*t trinkets or 'do I want a camel ride'. That or a private tour with some unqualified random giza (😉)

Oh and don't get started on the rubbish that's blowing around your head as you try to take a photo. A couple of hours was enough for me.

A friend went to a Valley Of the Kings trip, and when he got off the bus a bloke was twisting his arm to buy a piece of small cardboard box to act as a fan for 2 Egyptian pounds which was about 30p, he ended up buying it from the bloke after my mates wife insisted so they could be left alone.

After he came out the bloke asked for it back, so my mate asked for his money back, they ended up wrestling over the floor for a bit of cardboard valued at 30p, my mate lost the struggle : )
