Positives:

I guess people probably don't want positives... but we only lost 1-0 so we persevered some goal difference.

I know that Wigan and Barnsley won, but it was good that Reading, Hull and Charlton all lost.

I might be the only one, but I still think we'll get out of this.

UTB!! (y)(y)

There are positives?! The only positive I can think is that Gibson wakes up and realises we are going down. I love your optimism Cuthbert but you have to face reality here.

As for the goal difference advantage, if we can't score then that will only evaporate with each passing game.

Not with Wing, Saville and Clayton in the same side.

So many things wrong with the starting line up and the subs. What is the point of the Nmecha signing? And Morrison?

Utterly depressing, but at least we’ve had one shot on target in the last 300 minutes.

Seriously... Positives.... Erm .... We might if we're really lucky ... Not get relegated to league 1.
It's against Leeds we've been crap against them for ages so we can all just pretend it's ok till the weekend. Guess that's a positive?

Committed tonight, but damage done by poor displays against the bottom three which were purely down to poor selections. Tav tries to do things and Coulson is a threat. How Woodgate thought they deserved dropping for Friend and Morrison, a renowned waste of space, is beyond me!

Its going to be an exciting, frustrating, nail biting end to the season rather than just mid table obscurity

Shotton and Coulson played well.
We managed a shot on target.
They've finally done something about the ball boys.

Naff all else in the way of positives.

Looking at our remaining fixtures, and saw that we have a final game away to Sheff Wed. Shades of 88/89?
We had a cracking Christmas, beating Man U, Southampton away and drawing with Spurs.
Things went downhill from there, losing to Luton, Millwall, Charlton, Forest & Sheff Wed, drawing with QPR, before the end of the season, going down 3rd bottom by 1 point.
