So you agree then?
It’s an abuse of the system pure and simple. It’s not even up for discussion.
I don't agree, no.
They're able to get tickets next season if they renew.

Priority points system has been in play a couple of seasons now. If your points are high now then great, you’ve watched some *****, and you will get tickets in the prem. You claim I've cherry picked but lets look at this logically, in a perfectly possible scenario where Burnley, Watford and Norwich get relegated, with Fulham, Bournemouth and Boro coming up let's look at the games:
High Demand
Arsenal
Brentford
Chelsea
Crystal Palace
Fulham
Leeds
Liverpool
Man Utd
Man City
Newcastle
Tottenham
West Ham
That's 12 games where demand would be very high
Medium Demand
Aston Villa
Everton
Leicester
Wolves
Low Demand
Bournemouth
Brighton
Southampton
If we got promoted (huge if) it would be very difficult for those with low points to get any away tickets next season and build up any kind of points history.
Nonsense! My dad is a season ticket holder and has been for 30+ years. He couldnt go to Man utd as at work (Bus driver who works fridays), is it wrong that he allowed my wife to use his season ticket to get to the game? Going with me and my 2 sons who are all season ticket holders with 148 points! So you agree then?

Of course it is! That’s the exact point. Your wife hasn’t earned the right to go and she’s prevented a season ticket holder, some one who HAS earned the right to go, from going.
I really can’t grasp how people cannot see the principle behind this.
7 games potentially *at best*so what yo are saying are there are 7 games plus potential cup games to get your points up. Happy days. You are looking to create an issue where there isn't an issue. If you can find any fans who genuinely deserved tickets who haven't got them I'd be very surprised. All this nonsensical outrage on this post is hypothetical.

If the club had decided to only take the initial 3,000 tickets for £30 each due to the pricing policy at United, would you be happy for your whole family to miss out in place of a load of people going for one game on another person’s priority points?Nonsense! My dad is a season ticket holder and has been for 30+ years. Eh? FFS I never knew thatThey'll still have their points from last season to go on the waiting list
There is a difference Shaun. At least all season card holders get the chance to try for a ticket if priority is given to all season card holders. Some season card holders didn’t even get the chance to apply because of an abuse of the system.I can appreciate both sides but for me a priority system is the fairest way. As with every system of course its open to abuse.
If you suggest the priority should be to season card holders first then theres absolutely nothing to stop that season card holder passing it onto someone else. Theres no difference. The only way would be to put personal details on each ticket to be cross checked with ID at the turnstile. That just isnt feasible or possible.
No it isn't.I agree about tickets being passed on, it will always happen, but as mentioned earlier, a ballot is the fairest way of ticket allocation if there aren't enough tickets for all season ticket holders.
I think that’s fair. No way to abuse the system then.I agree about tickets being passed on, it will always happen, but as mentioned earlier, a ballot is the fairest way of ticket allocation if there aren't enough tickets for all season ticket holders.
Not if season ticket holders are denied a chance. It's been selected as the system after consultation with fans who want to guarantee that they themselves will always get a ticket, because they can afford to go to every game.No it isn't.
The current system is the fairest way possible.
Better watch you do don't fall off Humpty.Do you ever get the feeling you’re banging your head against a brick wall?
Very goodBetter watch you do don't fall off Humpty.

All season card holders did have chance to apply for the Man Utd tickets as it went to 140 points. Yes some were unsuccessful but that will always be the case if theres less tickets than SC holders. There is a difference Shaun. Imagine if we went up, this kept happening and it created a closed shop. A season ticket would soon lose its value.
