He'd be another Boyd - no use to them in Europe, but poach 20-30 a season domestically.

I’ve got no animosity towards him it’s just I’m struggling to think of what value he’s given us taking into account his transfer fee and wages. He’s been average and that’s being kind.

He showed absolutely no emotion when we scored the 3rd goal. Just kinda walked off as everyone else celebrated. It maybe nothing but I genuinely think he's wrapped in.
To he fair he's months left and not signing a new deal. He was also offered to clubs in Jan. I doubt he cares a jot.
We just need him off the books and it's coming soon
I imagine he's very much just hoping he doesn't get injured in the next few weeks. I don't hate him. Just annoyed at the crazy money Monk threw at these clowns.

Although its turned out very badly, he was the hottest player available at the time. And it was a real coup to get him. As much as I disliked Monks reign it was not him that splashed the cash. Don't blame SG he got the best that he could get. Based on stats and perceived value. Once play offs are beyond reach I don't expect to see anything but the occasional last 10 minutes to stop our good players getting injured
