Dan Barlaser, dare I say our number one target? Intended to replace our summer saviour Massimo Luongo.. knows the league, performing well and should fit right in. 10/10

Cameron Archer opted for boro above all others, disapinted Preston fans and left Villa fans thinking he could start in the prem. More suited to a Carrick side than Rodrigo Muniz who will no doubt reach double figures at his next club. 9/10

Chiedozie Ogbene 25 year old in a bit of a purple patch, a low risk gamble to fill the gap on the left and give Matthew Hoppe chance for some game time on loan. Known to Crooks and Giles should be up to speed pretty much straight away. Unexpected cult hero in the making. 8/10

Charlie Cresswell is the the rumour that makes sense, Daniel Dodds off to pastures new, Paddy McNair able to fill in at right back.. one for the future, touted as a future captain at Leeds and underappreciated at Millwall. Centre back a go go.. lack of cover has been our downfall the past two seasons. 7/10

Arson Jashari as I’ve been told is the ‘Swiss lad’ we’ve agreed a deal on.. the next in line to don the famous 22 shirt are we to have the overpriced left footed defensive midfielder or could we have a player worthy of what has now become Sol Bamba’s number. Caolan Boyd-Munce to go out on loan? 6/10

Daniel Nkrumah comes into the Connor Malley shaped gap in the squad for potential goal machine/baller, Toyosi Olusanya wet our whistle with the prospect of an unknown lower league gem. The strength of Adama Traore and the most unpredictable forward since Paulo Wanchope.. didn’t quite click. Hopefully Keiron Scott’s team have found us our very own Eddie Nketiah! 5/10

Not sure what you base that on. So far has shown nothing in his albeit limited time to think he is any better than Muniz.

Enjoyed that description of Nkrumah. I’ve no idea who he is mind.

Missing a natural centre forward to do the Crooks role .
Stewart did it superbly but is too expensive , and ,I would like a bit more height adding to the group.
CF , CM x 2 , CH , AM
Today will be a big decision day with MC and KS, maybe a few tweaks to the original list.

Deffo need another centre mid - especially with Crooks playing up front - or maybe we get a target man in allowing Crooks to drop back and add competition?

We won't be signing all those Newy, yesterday might have come at a good time if we can address the issues this window
You’re right, Keiron Scott said three MAYBE four.. striker, midfielder, left sided attacker and one other. Which would tie in with Archer, Barlaser, Nkrumah and Amos.. but why not just go for EIGHT because whispers are whispers and we seem so close to being able to do something this year. We’ve had that Spence money burning a hole in our pocket and I think everyone is pished off with our previous manger saying we wouldn’t finish top six. There are bargains to be had the January and players wanting to join us. Deadline day could be very interesting, plenty of interesting scoops cropping on here from conversations with wives and mates.. I think the only one that hasn’t been is Chiedozie Ogbene.

So they've all signed?

Following yesterday's midfield display we could really do with Jashari joining. I'm still sceptical though and think he'll end up at a bigger side.
Apart from us it’s only Celtic that seem interested!

He keeps some good company mind..
from left to right: Granit Xhaka, Xherdan Shaqiri & Ardon Jashari

So they've all signed?
as good as signed my friend! I’ve mentioned them on an internet message board.. seen in the tontine, training as we speak & all moving into Grant Leadbitter’s old house.

Everybody reviews the transfer window AFTER it’s closed! Why not take the opportunity to run the rule over players before they have agreed to sign.. if indeed there was any chance for them to un the first place.

THREE POINTS separate us from 3rd place and also 12th place.. more than just a nip and a tuck, we need heavy duty reinforcements to force our way to the top of the pile and get a bit of breathing space.

3rd Watford 44pts
4th Blackburn Rovers 43pts
5th Norwich City 42pts
6th Middlesbrough 42pts
7th Luton Town 42pts
8th Millwall 42pts
9th Sunderland 41pts
10th West Brom 41pts
11th Preston 40pts
12th Swansea 39pts
