Redcar Town, Redcar Athletic and Stockton Town promoted.

The Northern League loses a Teesside club in Stockton and gains one in Redcar Town.

Big step up for Stockton but they're a strong, well run club. A lot more travelling for the players.

Big game tomorrow night if you're interested in local football. The Durham Cup Final is being staged at Billingham Town. £5/£3 admission. West Auckland v Billingham Synthonia.

Bar and refreshments available, if it's a nice night you can watch the game with a pint in your hand.

I think Stockton may struggle with the new league setup. The teams are a lot less spread out now so attracting players will be harder.

Marske have done well so tie down their big names so far and have added Hopson (ex Whitby and Darlo amongst others) to the ranks. Dunston will struggle again especially with the promotion of Hebburn. Shildon were only offered promotion by 1 point compared to North Shields. Will be am interesting season but call me bias I think it's Marske, Hebburn and Tadcaster as the top 3.

Great news for the Redcar teams also.
