Reform

I just came across on Reddit where someone has asked potential Reform voters why they would vote Reform. It's an interesting read because we don't get any/many people on here that will put their head above the parapet and explain why they would. Responses are unsurprisingly almost all about immigration and a lot of them are because the Tories aren't really right wing!

Seems the media are setting us up for a merger, if farage wins he could head up merger and get airtime every week as the leader of the opposition

He would never cope with being leader of the opposition. He can't cope with being questioned and like most (all?) populists he hasn't got any answers, only bloke down the pub 'wisdom'. Even now in interviews he responds with things like 'you are boring me' when confronted with detailed questions.

The people of Clacton need to watch Jonathan Pie's latest. Although for many it probably wouldn't change their mind (but at least they'd have to own their decision to back a racist).

Interestingly I have now heard of teenagers (plural) that are getting a lot of Reform social media that appears quite appealing. Appears their social media teams gears are starting to turn in the background.
Reform have a lot of financial backing and are clearly putting huge amounts into social media manipulation. The internet is the downfall of democracy

Haven’t read all the thread but I can’t fathom why the Social Democratic Party (who describe themselves as left of centre) have done some sort of electoral deal with Reform to not duplicate candidates in certain constituencies?

Edit - I’ve just read the press release and I’m still confused.

They did, about 2 years ago.
