Where will he play? Kane behind him and Song? Will need Djed Spence to complete the jigsaw. £20M thanks.

Yep , i wonder what Giles valuation is if we think he’s going to be as good or better than Jones was last season and he’s better than spence who is looking at £15-20m . Now this fella going for a few Bob 47477D60-3DAB-4D29-AF33-DCB6E4F3BA60.jpeg

Richarlison was perhaps the reason why Everton stayed up (oh and I forgot the Mackem). While Tottenham’s purchase is a bit pricey I believe he’s going to be not just a great sub, he can play no. 9, 10 and be very effective as left winger, almost 3 players in one.

Hope the young lad does well at Brentford. They seem to know how to find the right players for them.(y)

He'll be rotated with the new 5 subs rule. Cracking player and will do well under Conte.

Everton bought him for up to £50m 4 years ago so £60m isn't massive in that context. He's a good player but he plays in Son's position so maybe they will rotate.

I'm really surprised none of the really big clubs have tried to get Son. There are never any rumours he might leave but he's way better than done of the players Barcelona, Madrid, Utd and PSG have splashed cash on

Son is an imposing player. Everytime Ive seen him play us - he`s looked awsome. Spurs lucky he hasnt decided to move on.

To be fair Everton paid 50mil and he's been pretty consistent for them and arguably one the only reason they stayed up (with Pickford).

So they've only made 10mil and I'd say he better than he was at Watford. That probably suggests they were the ones who massively overpaid and not Spurs.

I think he's decent enough as a player. It's just his theatrics and general dimina on the pitch I hate. Just a miserable looking sh*t house always on the deck waving his arms around.

You have to say Richarlison / Son / Kane and Kulusevski is a very impressive front 4 (probably 3 playing).

Why would Kane be behind him? Hes not an out and out striker anyway, his best play has always been playing behind a main striker. It would be daft moving Kane as well, why would you risk losing his goal output for someone who isn’t as good a finisher and not prolific.

This is a great signing for Spurs. Kane and Son are exceptional but they've never had an adequate replacement when either was injured or needed resting. Now they've got a Brazilian international who can play anywhere across the front line. With the January additions of Kulu and Bentacur, the fantastic recent signings of Bissouma and Perisic, Lenglet and Spence probably coming in, plus possibly one or two more, I think Conte has the tools to have Spurs pushing for the title. They'll probably come up short as Man City will likely end up with 95+ points, but Spurs should have their best PL season since Poch.
