I don’t think he’s either key or one of the best we have tbh. Ramsey was far far more effective on the ball and Carrick knew that, which is why he started AR and benched him.

I’d say our best players are Howson, Lenihan, Hackney, Akpom and Forss. I’d suggest Carrick will buy/loan to play around them or as back up, whereas McGree will be backup for a more dangerous player.m once again.

I do believe he can be effective, but absolutely not key to promotion.
