Ring of Iron Folk Club

I haven’t seen a plug from the_gin_soaked_boy about this, so I’ll step in and say that it’s the folk club’s first birthday tonight. If you’re partial to some good tunes and poetry, great beer and a very convivial atmosphere, head down to the Chapel tonight. It’s FREE. Well, the beer isn’t, but the entertainment is. Usually kicks off at 8.00pm.

Congratulations to those who run it - I’ve really enjoyed the last year. Keep on keeping on.

Forgot to mention, we're collecting food for the local food banks, in conjunction with @HarryVegas collection project...so if you have some pot noodles, cup a soups etc spare they'd be gratefully relieved and passed onto the relevant charity. Cheers

Thanks to attendees kindness and generosity, we raised £100 - which we've transferred to the charity- and a **** tonne of food (completely filling the back of our car) for Middlesbrough food bank.
