Rodrigo Muniz

I was all for him when we got him, but he has been so disappointing.
Still young with time to improve, it was a blessing in disguise Fulham beat us to his signature as it would have been £8m miss spent.
We have had a second bite, but he is not what we need , so if we can send him back and bring in a forward MC wants so be it.
Sometimes things don't work out .

He seems to be more of a target man type striker when now we play with more mobile strikers. He would suit how we played under Warnock

Looked decent in his first handful of appearances but has gone off the boil.

He's only 21 though, it's easy to forget that he's so young given the money he cost Fulham. I'm sure there is a player in there but at the moment he doesn't deserve to start.

Don't think he has impressed MC in training, hence lack of minutes. Probably a big few weeks for him to impress the coaching staff. Otherwise can see us trying to cut the loan short if we can. Same with Mowatt. I think these were all full season loans when they were announced but would be great if we could cut these two short. Can't see luongo being here after Jan when his short term contract ends.
Llonugo is good cover for howson and the lad hasn’t had a chance so I believe we should keep him

from a footballing perspective I certainly wouldn't write him off, how many of us on here, truthfully, thought Akpom would be banging them in this season? and even more surprisingly from a deeper no 10 role!

If its an expensive loan deal, which I imagine it is, it probably makes sense to cut him loose, if we can, and spend the funds on a centre mid and a winger where we look very light.

I still think he'd come good if he was playing regularly under Carrick.

Obviously most of his game time was under a heavily stuttering Wilder death spiral.

He's looked off it recently, but Forss looked crap under Wilder and has been good under Carrick so far.

If the problem is 'priority for permie signings', then why not make Fulham an offer for him? It's risky but the price will have gone down a fair bit by xmas.

I thought this was going to be a fantastic loan signing. Even when he started games I thought he looked excellent. But the form of Akpom and Forss under Carrick has meant his time is limited at the moment.

I do think he's our 3rd best striker, but it's going to be tough to get in ahead of Forss & Akpom at the moment as those two are building a very good relationship and partnership on the pitch.

I'd keep him on loan, providing he's happy to play the waiting game for his chance.

With Akpom playing as a 10 Forss movement compliments that better.

Muniz looked fantastic when he came, but his firm has dropped off a cliff really.

I wonder if he's been told he's not here for the second half of the season?

He was an unused sub on Fulham's bench for a couple of games before he came to us.
Does that mean he can't play for a third club this season? If so then I think he will stay.

He has a ton of potential but lacks the mentality
A few games ago when he stamped on the goalie sealed it for me

We are now in the weird situation that if Akpom gets injured, we would struggle.

It's nothing personal against Muniz, who I thought looked decent when he first arrived - but I would be happy to see him sent back and for us to recall Coburn.

The highlights of Bristol Rovers draw at the weekend included a goal from Coburn but also a silky bit of skill and strength on the halfway line to set up another attack.
In some ways it was more impressive than his goal.

About 25 seconds in:

if we can send him back then do it as long as we can get someone adequate in to cover while keeping coburn out on loan, maybe an older head on a short term deal would be ideal , or do we have any other gems that would benefit from snippets of game time when we are playing great or need someone to pull a goal out of no where

I think we are better leaving Coburn out on loan where he will get more minutes at a standard that is probably right for him to develop. I think it will benefit player and club more in the long term.

I'd send Muniz back if we can and use the money to bring in another CM if we could.

Akpom and Forss start with options of Warmore and Hoppe of the bench. Even though Watmore is far from prolific, he does give us energy and seems to get more goals than Muniz.

Crooks can also play the no10 role if required. With any of the other 4 playing in front of him.
