When I was contracting I was working on Monkey Island near Maidenhead and two of us had to go into London to finish off a job in the City. Every night we would go for a few pints before we got the train back to Maidenhead and Rolf Harris would be sitting on the station platform painting.

The first night we got off the train and as we walked past Harris my mate said "can you see what it is yet?" Instead of just laughing it off Harris jumped up, started flinging paint brushes at us and chased us out of the station with us two laughing like two school kids. This continued until the job finished with the same scenario every night.

Felt sorry for kate bush for using him on the excellent album Aerial only for him to be declared a pedophile aftwards. I think the album has been re-released with his input scrubbed

My brother in law spent a large amount on one of his massive paintings - probably worth next to nothing these days
