Rooney Quits

Obviously the billions in new investment the Derby fans expected isn't actually going to happen?

Although it could also mean Klopp is about to swap Anfield for Pride Park flats.

Fair play to him. It was his first job and has had to deal with a sh1tstorm. He has always been fairly diplomatic and in fairness did a decent job in the circumstances.

I wonder if he had something else lined up, Blackpool maybe.

Has anyone dared to look on the Derby boards yet? :ROFLMAO:

Joking aside, good luck to him. He'll get picked up soon I would have thought. Done a good job under ridiculous / impossible circumstances.

Hope their next manager is total dogsh*t👍
I don’t think he has done a good job, nearly relegated and relegated.

Sounds like it is totally out of the blue. Surely anyone taking over, local lad or not, would have done so believing Rooney would be the manager, thus enabling them to attract better players and further future investment etc? Wonder if the potential new owner will be having second thoughts?

I think it’s more a case of him quitting because of the potential new owner.
