Ryan Giles

He's been at Wolves since he was 10, and was born less than 20 miles away.

He's probably a Wolves fan now, regardless of what happens with his own career.

I wouldn’t read too much in to it.
He’s from Telford he’s probably always been a wolves fan, maybe a shrews fan at a push

Really thought he was loving it here and would sign permanently once we are promoted🤞
However just seen this tweet from him 😢

What do you expect him to write?

"**** off, I'm not coming back"?

He's a Wolves fan isn't he (from Telford, near Wolves), and they're his parent club. He might have been called back for contract talks or Wolves explaining their direction, or just visiting parents/ mates etc?

He's unlikely to be getting a game for them next year, they got three left backs who are probably all rated higher by them Jonny, Ait-Nouri and Bueno, first two are worth like 20m and the last one is only 20, and a Spain ex U-18 who has played like 18 games for them this year. Wolves are pretty much safe now, if anything they will be looking to upgrade what they have, not take chances on what they've loaned out.

He's only got two years on his contract, this summer is probably Wolves best time to be cashing him in, but he's only going to be going to a top champo club or team which just gets promoted.

He's also had about 8 loans, so not scared of moving around etc.

Ha yes this is a bizarre take mate. Don’t forget his future is uncertain still. Did you expect him to say “love the Riverside/Boro, being here at the Molineux just feels empty and hollow”?
That quote would be more in context with his facial expression in that photo to be fair.

Well that's that then. Surely needs dropping now and his loan cutting short etc etc.

Only way he can redeem himself is if a selfie turns up on social media with him wearing a full Boro kit under his hoody/slacks.......🙄
Only if it includes Boro socks otherwise forget it, he's dead to me

dont quite get the love in for him tbh.hes a decent left back thats it,his assists masks his deficiencies in defence,as said hes ok,wont be bothered either way if we sign him or not

He's been ever present all season and a critical element of 'the team'. For a promotion or premiership campaign next season he would leave a big gap to fill if he wasn't with us. Don't forget how much Warnock and Wilder used to bang on about balance and the search for someone with a decent left peg being a non too easy task. Agreed he has weaknesses but let's not forget who we are. If he was a tad better than he currently is he would be giving Shaw, Chillwell, Targett and Cresswell a run for their money, and a nice little problem for Southgate to have.
