I'm not a real golf fan, but I always watch The Masters and the Ryder Cup, with the latter starting on Friday. I love the format of the Ryder Cup and how it can change from day to day. I will be having a weekend in front of the box watching it.

The bookies have the USA as favourites and I think they might be just too strong for the Europeans.

Over to you, the experts.
 
Europe have a great chance. The team comments how Luke Donald had them the most together they have ever been. Leadership, similar to Edwards in a way

USA have to be favourites, not many away wins and a very hostile crowd expected.

Europe are unchanged mainly, only hojgaard who’s replaced his brother l. Think this is the best way to deal with the threat of hostility

I've just been looking at the course, and they are usually in lush surroundings, but it looks a little ropey on the outskirts. I'm sure the course itself will be immaculate.

To win in America is hard, we need to try and get the American crowd subdued and a little on side where and whenever an opportunity arises, signing autographs slapping hands on the way to the next tee, giving the odd glove, ball or any memorabilia to kids. The Americans love Rory and Tommy F, charm offensive to the crowd while the U.S.A adopt their usual stand offishness and overly serious demeanour.

That said, I believe the Americans will end up winning reasonably comfortably but we will see some wonderful theatre over the 3 days, I’d guess at a 17/11 outcome to U.S.A.
 
On that course, with a stacked team, home advantage and the raucous New Yorkers, it's very hard not to see a home victory.
Europe however, do have more and more players very experienced at playing in the States and in Luke Donald, an immensely respected Captain, loved by the team.
It should be a belter!
I'll go USA 16-12 Europe.
 
Zach Johnson was a catastrophically bad US captain last time and tbh I’m not convinced Bradley will be much better this time around. There’s just something “off” about him.

It’s a tough ask but we’ll never have a better chance to do something special over there. Luke Donald is a class act and we have about as settled a team (playing and backroom) as it’s possible to get (swapping one Hojgaard for the other) so I honestly think we’ll do it. 15.5 - 12.5 to Europe.
