It's quite bizarre that he's announced he will contact the next GE. The only thing that I can think of is he's planning on the polling becoming so bad under Sunak that he comes back as leader. The deluded idiots still see him as an 'election winner' so I suppose he thinks he's got a punchers chance.

I would think that if Sunak is still in post come the next GE he won't stand again. He won't want have him losing his seat on his record.
