Scarborough Naval Warfare - The Battle of Peasholm Returning!

Used to love Peasholm as a kid on holiday. Loved naval war fare and the island at night.
However my real highlight was the smaller boating lakes were I used to take my model yacht. I had hours of fun as a kid.

Can anyone remember the watersplash nearer to the swimming pool.

I also remember swimming in the sea near Scalby Mills and being careful to avoid the poo floating in the sea. How naive were we in those days

Absolutely loved the water splash!
And the outdoor pool on the south bay was the coldest environment known to man. I swear we turned blue as kids!
