Long story short, I needed to get some straight-through pipe connectors tonight for an emergency plumbing job so I popped into B&Q and got the last 4 in stock.
On getting home and setting about the job in question I found that someone had taken the time to open one of the packets and steal the nut and olive off one end of the connector rendering it useless.
Given that the connector retails for the princely total of £1.81 I can only pity whichever sad, utterly selfish sack of ***** decided they'd rather knick part of it and leave the next, unsuspecting customer in a potential bind.
 
And have the side of my car potentially stoved in by an even bigger ****?
Where I went isn't really the point is it?
 
No, there was hole poked in the bag just big enough to allow it to be removed, dismantled and then replaced.

If The Purge ever becomes a reality, I'll be dead before I get through my list ;)
 
I have sorted it thanks, but the point is the petty criminality, not who stocks cheap plumbing items.

In case you aren't aware, the car comment was in relation to Shaboro who had someone seriously damage his car and drive off infront of Screwfix at the weekend. Far more of a s***y trick than knicking bits of a plumbing fitting I'll agree, but just another sign of the type of people who inhabit this country.
