OK great. That was my understanding as well but I didn't want to make a promise without double checking again.

Good news then season cards will be appearing in the post about 2 weeks before season kick off.

Did you go to Wembley?
I ask because the turnstiles are all being upgraded to a system similar to Wembley,

We also saw the same system at a couple of away games last season where there is a big (roughly) A4 screen that lights up when you brandish your card/phone at the scan point.

So, the process has not changed but now the turnstile will be better lit and you will see a screen turn green and not just a light go on. Am saying green but it could be yellow but the whole screen lights up so it is very clear. But the point is it will be much easier to see what you are doing in the new season.

There will be information put out about this. Not just online either.. Oh and they were successfully tested on one of the Riverside stands through last season.

The August friendly game and Wrexham match should be a good opportunity for many people to get to know the upgraded turnstiles.

Wembley getting something right certainly doesn't mean that the Boro will get the same thing right.

For example, the FA manage to sell England kits when people want them and in the sizes they want from the location they want them.

They've changed their minds thank goodness and are sending them out to those that paid the £10, instead of having us collect them. The Boro could peel and orange in the back pocket of their jeans with a boxing glove on.

Boro tested an upgraded turnstile through last season. I think it was in the East Stand. Anyway, it was an extensive matchday trial of the technology.
