Shamima Begum refused return to UK

How will she appeal - according to her lawyers it’s not possible from the camp where she is?
Well, she has conducted her case to date from where she is, so she will no doubt have to carry that on or not proceed. That is an issue for her lawyers to try to overcome, they managed so far. The funding of it will be interesting if the case carries on.

Where in the UK can you vote at 16? Or was this just a point made to win an argument.

Anyway - even if you take the dimmest possible view of her: she's our problem, she was radicalised here so should be dealt with here.

Is it really as widespread as the media would have us believe?

Yes, more so. Obviously not always to the extreme of this particular case so they don't always make the headlines, but across the UK you have Local Authorities and Police Forces dealing with a high number of referrals everyday. Some areas a lot more than others granted.

A few on here certain she has been, even dismissing the interview she did and the admissions she made
In this country we don't normally sentence people based on what they say to the media but rather at the end of a fair trial. I'm not saying this has happened in this case but we have all seen how taped interviews can be manipulated and selectively edited.

Dangerous precedent if the government can just revoke citizenship when it pleases, she should face the most severe punishment for what she has done, for me there is no question of that, but that punishment should be in the UK as she is a UK citizen

Her lawyer provided it to the court. BBC

Come on Randy, what's the difference?
Her lawyer's job is to get the best possible outcome for his/her client.

Has she apologized to her father yet I wonder? Who said, and I quote,

"If she at least admitted she made a mistake then I would feel sorry for her and other people would feel sorry for her, but she does not accept her wrong."

At the end of the day I don't understand this mass outpouring of sympathy for someone who quite happily watched innocent people have their heads removed from their bodies and sees terrorist actions as fine. Her only complaints been about the corruption surrounding ISIL 😂

I am not sympathetic, but gaining the outcome on Journalistic endeavour seems a strange way to run a legal system.
