Silence of The Rams

So they will avoid further points deductions?

What is the criteria for the points deduction?

I thought one was paying the creditors a certain % of the debt (not sure what this is) and another been not entering a new season in administration. Am sure they will be others.

When does it officially become the new season?

..........................All parties connected with the Derby County takeover are working hard to get the deal over the line as the club inches closer to securing its future.
Work is expected to continue into the night as Clowes Developments look to take control at Pride Park. Administrators Quantuma had said in a statement that they had set a completion target date of today (Wednesday).

Clearly HMRC have bent over and let them off which is a total and utter disgrace and makes you wonder why anyone should pay tax again.
I was wondering about the HMRC and these reports of this new owner moving forward with a “clean slate” too.

Surely at the least, the new owner has to be responsible for the FULL repayment of the existing HMRC tax liability (perhaps over time) plus interest.

And just as importantly, they should also be forced into submitting their payroll withholding taxes and their ongoing corporate taxes on a regular basis, just like everybody else!

The latest extension and almost there. They’re working hard and it’s extremely complex you know.

I’ll bet they never submitted the payroll withholding taxes therefrom.
I'll happily take that bet. Quantuma may be a bunch of parasites, but you can't really believe they are paying people under the table, or that HMRC wouldn't notice that no RTI return came in that month?

The way this has gone on who’s to say Quantama and Rooney’ agent were even working together

That's literally what happened though: the agency made a single payment of £1.6m to Quantuma to cover the wages. It gets reported as "agent pays salaries" but that doesn't mean they made a series of individual payments to DCFC employees.
