Simon Pegg

It's a dreadful policy for many reasons, but I cringe at Simon Pegg differentiating between maths and "this country's amazing reputation for creativity". Mathematics can be - should be - a creative outlet, and this country has a fantastic reputation for creative mathematicians who shouldn't be dismissed because 12 year old Pegg didn't like times tables.
But he never said that.

I must be the only person on this board that doesn't know who Simon Pegg is...
You'd have to be trying really hard to not know who he is. I mean he's no Colin Sausages, but he has achieved a certain level of fame.

Just watched it..... Absolutely amazing 👌😂

I mean so many priorities or issues need sorting than being better at maths. I recieved an E for maths...I've done alright for myself.

Would you like me to pass on your best Nobby? Just waiting for him to put an order in for some new plants for his lovely new house near here.

Thanks
Thanks for the offer NZ but it's Nosmo who is the real fan and was a big fan of his back in the day when Noel was on Radio 1, we could put them in touch perhaps.. ...

Oh I could google him, but I think that kinda defeats the point of being famous.
So why did you open the thread?
There must have been some thought process along the lines of "Simon Pegg, who is he and why is there a thread about him?".
To then not bother to find out is a bit odd.
For all you know he might be a Tory MP, one of Rishi Sunak's aides or even one of his relatives. Any of which would make the clip dynamite.

Some literature and music combined, especially for bumface ...

"Thou shalt have a Rishi
On a little dishy
Thou shalt have a Rishi
When the boot goes in."

Sunak must just think everybody has the kind of Wealth him and his Family have and need to acquire the skill to count it all.

I know who Rishi is but I've never heard of Simon Pegg

If we do have to have a Tory PM. for the next couple of years then Rishi is probably as good as we'll get - he seems half sensible much less of a prat than Bonzo and much less of a idealist than Miss Frump

Why revel in your ignorance of one of the most successful UK comedy writer / director / actor's of recent times ?

Would a "half sensible" person encourage people to "eat out to help out" during a once in a lifetime global pandemic ? Would a "half sensible" person know how to use a contactless card to pay for petrol even during a staged photo op? Would a "half sensible" person ask a homeless man whether he works in finance ?

The man is as bad as any of his predecessors, he just wears nicer clothes and is a bit younger.

Well, it's none of your business, but I saw it on twitter, someone retweeted it, that still doesn't affect that point that I never knew who he was..

You've never seen any of Spaced, Paul, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The Worlds End, Mission Impossible, Star Wars:The force awakens ?
