Sky stirring the pot

Ski seem to do this a lot .
It was mainly newspapers that did sort of thing but for tv channel with such a long reach that actually funds the game this does seem a bit sneaky and desperate to wind a fan base up .

Sky has some sort of partnership with talk Shyte these days so slippery slope beckons for sky reporting to sink as low as talkshyte

Plus, surely all boro fans agree that Bruce is perfect for the 8th biggest club in the world ?
Bruce just needs to keep them Mags around 6th bottom never enough to get the sack and keep them in perpetual mediocrity
That’ll do nicely 🤣

Exactly, as long as he does just enough to keep them there he's safe, everyone's a winner 👍

One of my biggest fears in Football is NUFC getting a decent manager who will actually win something with them, imagine how unbearable they will be if they did that. Thankfully Ashely saw sense and sacked the decent manager they had and brought in Bruce.

don't think this is sky stirring the pot, adrian does this on a daily basis for shock value with whatever loose story he can get his hands on. he would do this regardless of who the owners of the radio station were

That the point , their stir things up at every club in a negative way , it puts more pressure on clubs, managers ands players then sit back and watch fans get wound up . It creates a pantomime for their news coverage.

Sky, like any other media outlet, are there to stimulate interest and Newcastle is not a happy ship currently (havent we heard that before!)

There a piece in The Athletic written by Shearer, who acticulates just why the clube are floundering so much.

Not surprisingly Bruce (his mate) isn't blamed, the owner and his lackey is.

I watched some of the Sheff Utd game and Newcastle up until the sending off were to all intents and purposes "playing for the draw" against the worst team in the division. After they went down to ten men and conceded they changed things around and honestly they were the better team with one fewer players on the pitch. If I was a Barcode (and thank the heavens I'm not) I'd be spitting me Greggs pasty in fury over that performance.

've been concerned about that all my life, they still haven't won anything. 94 years since they won the league, 75 since they won the FA cup, never won the league cup, never won a UEFA sanctioned competition unless you count the Intertoto (which I don't). Basically they are running out of fans who saw them lift a trophy, got to be in your mid 80s to remember it.
