Slipknot

Saw them on their last tour at the O2. Very different to the first time, playing "Wait and Bleed" in a record shop (HMV) on Oxford Street. I kind of lost interest after "Iowa", but their last couple of albums have been excellent.

I always liked that their preferred tour bus viewing was DVDs of "QI" which they were apparently obsessed with, such that Corey Taylor appeared on it. A little different to their created personas.

They are phenomenal live.
I too have seen them a fair few times. Total energy.

Wait and Bleed, Before I forget and Duality are just classics.

Corey is an outstanding vocalist and frontman.

First time I heard them was "Spit It Out". Been a fan ever since but kind of dipped in and out over the years depending on what music genre I was into at the time.
Finally saw them live on the W.A.N.Y.K. Tour.......wow. Easily one of the best live bands / shows I've ever seen.
How does a "thrash" metal band with 9 members work .......it just does. Mad, but supremely talented musicians and performers👍

We had this saved on my family P.C, my sister showed me it as a 11 year old and it blew my mind. IOWA was the first album I bought with my own money but that was only after I’d worn out a pirated copy of their self titled first album.

Corey is a incredible singer, but I'm more of a fan of his work with Stone Sour.
Perhaps unusually, I prefer Vol 3 and some later stuff too rather than chunks of Slipknot and Iowa albums.
Corey's vocals in Stone Sour are top notch.
Live they are like nobody else, unique and fabulous.
