Money talks, hence taking place in SA. I reckon they would have only fought in a few years, on the way down if the Saudis hadn’t put the money up as both see each other as the big risk. I know a lot are talking about human rights and sports washing etc with that nasty regime but I will watch the fight and still despise what the Saudi government is about so none of their Sports Washing works anyway. Fury to win for me by late rounds knock out.

I'm not sure Britain can say too much about the Saudi rulers given this country provides fast quantities of weapons to them annually.

As for the actual fight; both have completely different styles and it's going to be hard for Joshua to get near Fury I think. It could be a Fury performance similar to when he beat Klitschko. I think Joshua has to aim for a stoppage as he won't win on points.

It may go like wider vs fury, Joshua has power and if he catches Tyson I don’t think he will get up. Ver intriguing fight and the build up will be embarrassingly addictive. I’m going for Joshua.

Genuinely 50/50 in my mind at the moment. I think Joshua will need to work combos and try and knock Tyson out back end of the fight. On the other fury has the tools to stay out of range of the jab and get a points victory

i think fury k/o least likely of the 4 results. If I was putting my neck on the line I’d say fury points

Yep I agree, fury can’t go in at Joshua like he did in Wilder 2, as he’s much better on the inside and liable to uppercut into play.

I think fury tries to keep him at distance for 12 rounds so AJ really needs to cut him off.

I’m going AJ knockout but that’s from heart rather than head

About time this fight happened!

I think Fury will win. He could KO him, or outbox him and take it on points. Fury is sly and has different ways of fighting, and I think he may be too clever for Joshua.

Having said that, Joshua is quality and it could be easy to make a case for him to win as well.

The tiresome build up will start soon, with both sides desperately trying to make out that this one really is personal and they really do hate each other. Boring and untrue. If someone wanted to fight me for tens of millions of pounds, they would be a best friend for life! Lots of boxers behave a bit like that Catherine Tate stroppy teenager character "are you disrespecting me". I am hoping that Fury does some funny stunts like his batman one to liven up the macho rubbish.

All depends on Joshua's confidence for me. He always seems quite tentative and nervous over the first few rounds especially during some of his bigger fights. Fury could capitalise on that and it could be over very quickly. He's got to move and throw combinations. A flick of the jab for 12 rounds won't do it against Fury but if he puts together some of those old school combos and catches Fury flush with a couple, he's certainly got a very good chance.

All things being equal i'd fancy Fury to just nick it.

I'll have to disagree with you there good sir, based on what he did to Wilder last fight I really don't think a Fury KO is the least likely outcome. Joshua on points for example is much less likely imo.

Wilder can’t box, Joshua is an Olympic good medalist. You just can’t walk aj down like you can wilder. Wilder has one punch walking him down negated that

I think will fury will destroy him. He’s a warrior look at his upbringing he’s a bare knuckle boxer at heart look at his miracously come back from that knock

I just can’t see him losing.
Whilst I’d make Fury the slight favourite, I wouldn’t describe him as a warrior. He hasn’t even got enough drive to get rid of his live handles.

I hope AJ sparks the compulsive liar/drug cheat out. Wonder if fury is gonna give this pay check to charity like he was gonna do with his wilder one....

The bigger punching Wilder caught Fury and still couldn't put him away.

Joshua carries decent power but he rarely knocks anyone out with one shot. Its usually an accumulation of shots which leads to a ref stopping the action in his fights.

If Joshua is to knock Fury out its more likely to be a sustained beating over a couple of rounds but Fury is very elusive and has a very good chin as well.
I think the younger more aggressive AJ would have been more dangerous to Fury, the cautious AJ will suit Fury's style a lot better.

If Fury is fit, motivated and on form he's a level above Joshua. Its hard to see anything other than a points win for Fury for me or even a Fury stoppage in the late rounds.

"drug cheat"? While it's no secret he went off the rails with cocaine and booze how does that make him a cheat? Has he been taking performance enhancing drugs or something?

Somehow I dont think you have a clue how that works. Huge difference between having a substance addiction and taking performance enhancing drugs
