So who do we want to win each of the 3 Play Off finals?

Now the dust has settled a little on our defeat to Coventry, I'd rather they won the play off final today. Theyre organised, disciplined but have a couple of real quality players in Gyokeres and Hamer. Plus, would rather a Midlands team was promoted than a Southern one.

In the League One Play Off final it's a tough one, always considered Sheff Wed a top flight team despite them not being there in the last however long. Big club, but despite that would probably prefer Barnsley to get the win.

Finally, in League Two it's Carlisle all day for me. Stockport have had a tremendous 2 or 3 years but always prefer to see the more local clubs do well.

Luton, Barnsley, Carlisle.
(I quite like all three).

Edit: One of my best mates is a Luton fan. Over the years I've been to Luton games in each division with him, as a football tourist (including non league). If we'd been playing today I'd want us to batter them (obviously)... but we're not. As such I'm fully behind Luton. (I'm going to the game in fact).

Sheff Weds
Stockport - my local club (I'll be there!).

Stockport, due to the ownership of Brian Kennedy/Sale Sharks, were shafted by him and ended up spending a long time in Conference North. Historically they have been a lower Championship/top end League 1 club (with a few seasons in League 2) and for a long time things looked grim. But they regrouped, new owner and are now looking at back to back promotions.

👍

Coventry - they are a physical team but at least they have a few decent footballers and try to play.
Barnsley - hard one to choose as Sheff Wed desesrve it with their points total, but I don't mind Barnsley.
Carlisle - fairly local without being rivals, and have good memories of away trips around Boxing day in the 80s.

Since we were knocked out my interest as evaporated. Im surprised at that as I love all forms of the game but I really couldn't care less who wins through now.

I hope they all enjoy their experience though although we know how tense it is watching these matches. I am at Twickenham this afternoon.

I’m at Twickenham too! Come on you Sarries!

Couldn’t care less (still hurts)
Haha I know that feeling but I am also optimistic for some reason that we will be stronger for the defeat and lessons learned.

Whilst we may sell an asset or 2, I believe that the recruitment team will get things right this summer and we will be able to compete at the top level.

The club ha e watched the team transform under Carrick and am sure they will back him to bring in players he beieves will improve the squad and offload players who didnt quite deliver.

I just wish the season was closer, I miss it already!

That's pretty much how I feel about it. Why should we want anyone in particular to win? Other than:

Luton Town because they finished third so deserve it
Sheffield Wednesday because they finished third so deserve it
Stockport County because they finished fourth so deserve it

Carlisle, Sheffield Wednesday and Coventry.

Carlisle because it'd be nice for them.

Sheffield Wednesday because of Darren Moore.

Coventry because they didn't cheat against us.
Coventry did cheat against us. The keeper went down clutching his head when nobody went near his head, it was just pure cheating to waste time and break our play up. The keeper was wasting time all 2nd half taking as long as he could to take goal kicks.
I would prefer the following to win:
Luton (They finished above us so deserve to go up)
Sheff Wed (Any team that comes back from a massive first leg defeat deserve to go up)
Carlisle

Luton, Stockport & Sheff Weds
As there shouldn’t be playoffs and these clubs should have got automatic promotion.
How a promotion place is decided on 3 results rather than over a whole season is ridiculous.

They timewasted like every other team in the division did.

It's annoying and unsporting, it's technically cheating, but it's what happens.

It didn't decide the result.

Luton dove to won a decisive penalty, and they're a less entertaining team in general.

It's decided over 49 results.

Everybody knows the situation at the start of the season.

We'd probably have finished above Luton if the play-offs weren't a factor.
We'd dominated them with a heavily weakened team and only lost in the end due to blatant cheating.

If we'd known that match had something riding on it, we'd not have kept Akpom on the bench for the entire match.

Not really. Who’s to say Luton would finish third if there was no play offs. We would have been doing everything to do it instead of playing weakened teams. Don’t spout *****. The rules are the rules
