So who do we want to win each of the 3 Play Off finals?

Coventry, because they are the much better team
Barnsley, because I don’t want to see a resurgent Sheffield Wednesday.
Carlisle, because they were the first team I saw Boro play against as a kid
 
My only concern is how the result might affect us next season.
So..
Carlisle v Stockport
Whatever 🤷‍♂️

Sheff Wed v Barnsley
Barnsley. As they are more likely to stay in their lane and not bother us. Sheff Wed might do a Sunderland.

Coventry v Luton
If Coventry don't go up they will lose Gyokeres (and maybe Hamer) which makes them a much lesser team and less of a threat to us next season. But if Luton don't go up no one will want any of their cruddy players, so they will have exactly the same team next season and will no doubt be challenging for top 6 again.
So for those spurious reasons I want Luton to win.
 
I'd be quite happy for Barnsley to be promoted too, it's been a whole year since I saw us lose there last.

I just really want Darren Moore to earn promotion to spite the racists that targeted him after missing out on automatic promotion and then after losing the first leg.

Finally, in League Two it's Carlisle all day for me. Stockport have had a tremendous 2 or 3 years but always prefer to see the more local clubs do well.

Coventry........I dislike Luton intensely.
Barnsley........I've worked with a few Barnsley fans, good craic.
Carlisle.......By virtue of Look North they are an honorary north east team.
 
Not really that bothered, we aren't involved so it doesn't matter. Although I would like to see Carlisle do it but won't be end of the world if they dont ( unlike last week)!
 
In the ancient days (Viking raiders most summers), Look North had the North East and Cumbria, hence Carlisle was always in the football. Oddly, felt closer than Leeds - Yorkshire TV was blocked ....

I'll be at the game, be disappointed if County don't win but if not - meh. Come a long way in 4 years, from National League North, no ground, no money to tantalisingly close to League 2.

What proper football is all about isn't it?

Is Carlisle covered by NW now on BBC?

I want Luton to go up as I think Cov will be rubbish when they lose their key men. Although conversely I also want Everton to come down tomorrow and am happy to just take them on.

Sheff Wed as I love a Sheffield away trip and there won’t be one otherwise.

County - I live in the Borough of Stockport and I have a little fantasy of one day watching Boro play there (again!).

We’ve spoken about it before mate I’m not far from you at all. I’m about 5 minutes walk from the Moor Top.
